Without Serbia there is no recognition from Russia and China, which means no UN membership. Also without Serbia there is no recognition from the 90+ other nations.
This means no/little investment into Kosovo, mass unemployment, etc.
But its good news for the likes of Haradinaj in relation to criminality, corruption, etc. The political elite will continue to get rich while the population will continue to try to get out of Kosovo.
The people of Kosovo need to rid themselves of this mafia thats gripped the whole province. Otherwise they will continue to sink further into poverty and the queues outside foreign embassies will just get longer.
