Maybe the nations who blindly follow the US into war should be the ones taking these refugees. It is after all the foreign policy of these Western European countries,dictated by the US, that has caused conditions to worsen in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc...

The rest is ridiculous because it violates the EU. There are only two articles which allow border controls within Schengen.

Austria uses them against Hungary and Slovenia since 2015, but not against Slovakia.

This is just an abuse: it is against the daily commuters to discourage them working in Austria.

I am on the suffering side simply because if driving to France from Hungary I have to take the road via Bratislava instead of going straight through Hegyeshalom and being stuck for 15 minutes to one hour. The Austrian police is usually a bunch of @-holes. Once they entertained us for good 10 minutes why I wasn't looking into their eye before stopping (so I am not allowed to talk to my wife before the border check?)

The Germans introduced the same check-point style on the main Bavarian-Austrian roads. In response, Austrians introduced the border control on the same roads if you drive from Bavaria.

But not on secondary roads. So if one drives a car which has a better mpg on secondary roads than on Autobahn (like a hybrid) it will be not only cheaper, also faster to avoid the Salzburg-Freilassing or Passau area.

And since there is no common Dutch-Polish or Dutch-Hungarian border, all the talk in the article is only smelly hot air from a toilet.
