Georgia checked mate , Ukraine Check mate , Syria check mate ... now Venezuela failed ... now it looks like Iran will be added to the list ...

It is the first duty as ambassador to improve the relations with his host country. Scott is permanently disturbing the bilateral relations with Serbia. So he is useless and cannot built up trust. That is a wrong position to bring Serbia closer to the US views. In the YU times the US had excellent ambassadors in Belgrade. Later it became worse and worse. And Scott is the lowest level. It is also a result of his narrow mind that the relations between Serbia and Prishtina are now in such difficulties. He should sent as US envoy to Mongolia. Or better to the moon.

Whether we agree or disagree with the position(s) of the US government, it seems to me that Scott is doing his job well.

From "customer" (i.e. citizen) point of view I still have to see a U.S. or Russian consulate doing their job well.

Long lines, angry people, appointments months away.
But they have an impressive nuclear arsenal.

Don't tell me an appointment regarding some trivial bureaucratic matter costs more, than a nuclear warhead.

We can continue endlessly, but if own people do not matter - why would Serbs matter? Applies to both major powers.

It's true that nasty acts were committed by both sides. And it is true in any conflict that the losers are always prosecuted in greater numbers than the victors. And it is especially true that the US has probably committed more unprosecuted atrocities than any government on earth. (Because they usually win.)

However, this General was convicted of committing war crimes. He should not be honored by any government. As far as I can tell he is unrepentant.

If you are going to support this General you should have a better argument than, "The other side did it too," or, "The other side has done worse." That's not a defense.

He is communicating the values and interests of the United States government, and his job title is ambassador of the United States of America. Why would you expect something different from him?

Whether we agree or disagree with the position(s) of the US government, it seems to me that Scott is doing his job well.

Just saying..

You admitted a while ago that you are not Albanian.

My questions:

- What you doing here?
- Do you know, the so-called "Albanian" and so-called "leaders" of "Kosovaaaah" are just straight criminals?
- I do not care less about Serbian or "Kosovaaaaah" nationalistic, insane agenda.
All I see that these Ramush - hush - hush - Milosh - "Snake" - whatever persons are major criminals.

You want "Kosovaaah" be an independent country? Be my guest, wish all the best to Albanian Kosovars. Under one condition: they either execute or imprison their own warlords and criminals. After a lengthy and thorough trial, of course.

Good question, Peggy. Since my joke about the French pilots a decade or so - I am your fan ;)

I have to be very tough here on Vucic & Co.

Reality: Vucic has only one arse.

With one arse you can do many things... but you can sit only on one
horse (or donkey).

Vucic & Co. tries a Russian donkey and American horse (or the other way) the same time.

It's tough. And that not going to end very well - because he is not gifted like Tito.

Photos are showing that Lazarevic is wearing the St.George badge. That is good and shows that he understands the message and content of the demonstration. It is remembering the victims of the Second World War who fought against Nazism. If Scott is seeing there something wrong, he has more a problem instead of Lazarevic. Or is Scott on the side of the former Nazis? This would be opposite the official US history. I can imagine that US diplomats cannot find the right orientation in the jungle of different interests and actions in the former YU. Being in such a position he should ask at home to be replaced. Probably in his retirement he could study a bit the history from 33-45, and further on. So he could avoid to be lost among different views and to keep the dignity of his country and of himself and his family.

Mr. Ambassador, your comments would only make sense if international criminal courts were legitimate. Unfortunately they are not. When one punishes selectively, the convictions have as much weight as a feather. If you want to make stupid comments like that, then let's talk about our people who should be prosecuted for war crimes dating back to the rape of Native Americans. Where are the war criminals who massacred individuals in Vietnam and Korea? Where are the war criminals who slaughtered civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan? Of course, there is the granddaddy of them all, dropping two atomic bombs on Japanese civilians. This BS war criminal stuff is irrelevant.

He is communicating the values and interests of the United States government, and his job title is ambassador of the United States of America. Why would you expect something different from him?

Whether we agree or disagree with the position(s) of the US government, it seems to me that Scott is doing his job well.

Hey Kyleaj, where was your outrage when the Albanians (Hardinaj and Co) appointed a war criminal, Syleman Selimi, to their cabinet as a Minister? You POS, I hope you rot in hell, as well as every US politician supporting the Narco/Human Trafficking, Land Stealing, Terrorist Albanians. The Serbs should designate him a persona non grata and let him live with his puppets in Albania. He just gave a perfect reason for this - showing extreme disregard for fairness in the region.

Kyle: No ONE cares about your OPINION.
The only criminals are those from NATO states who carried out a joint criminal, and cowardly act against Serbia. The US imbraced the fascist after 1945, and support them to this day. Thank God what comes around goes around.

All this has nothing to do with Scott or has he participated at the demonstration? It is fake history to mention, that the victims died in the fight for justice and peace. Nobody fought for peace in the battle on life and dead against the Nazi occupation. Also the empty term European values was unknown in this time. Hitler made propaganda with a united Europe under Germany’s leadership. Scott should find clear words opposite the president of Croatia for remembering Ustasha killers in Bleiburg or the hate speeches by Thaci and other Albanians. But there you cannot find any comment from this failed ambassador. The US should replace him soon as possible. He is looking and acting more like a dogmatic Stalinist, but not as representative of a democratic and open minded country. Lazarevic is now a free person and has all rights as normal citizen.

According to the UN appointed judge Harhoff, the ICTY was not a criminal court. The ICTY was a political spectacle whose proceedings and judgement were politically biased by the USA and Meron.

Ergo, Mr. Scott, General Lazarevic was in fact a political hostage for 10 years by a farcical tribunal dissociated from any legitimate concept of criminal justice.

The Serbian general has served his time. He is no longer in the army and not in government... Whats your excuse....hypocracy.
As for Scott he needs to ask why his country has invaded so many nations. Many were invaded without UN resolutions making it against international law. The Americans are responsible for the deaths of millions of people around the world in the last 70 years or so. They started with Korea and are most recently sniffing around Venezuela. Read what Jimmy Carter said in an interview last month........ "America: The most warlike nation in the history of the world".

Azir.....I often see posts from Albanians how Kosovo always belonged to Albania, via some stone age tribe. Attempts to steal Kosovo have been tried before, right?
The terrorist group KLA was formed way before any Serbian forces went in. This group was illegal and its sole purpose was to stir up an armed conflict. At the same time Albos paid US politicians such as Bob Dole, and others, as welll as marketing/lobby groups to swing opinion. Its well known the KLA murdered even moderate Albanians who did not want an armed conflict.
Its clear the KLA wanted to steal Serbian land. So, your argument is laughable. Your people planned and organised a conflict and then played the victim. You paid the US a fortune and accepted.
The same KLA are now criminals involved with drugs and many other crimes. Serious opposition is liquidated and the US knows it.
NoAzir, nato bombed the wrong side. Kosovo is a corrupt mafia and ISIS haven. But the truth will come out and you will not get away with land theft.
