If Brnabic thinks Serbia can contribute anything positive to the EU then he is more delusional than I thought.

They pretend that they want us there and we pretend that we want to be there. at the same time it's very hard for me to picture what sort of values anyone talks about nowadays when they say European values. Historically Europeans have been responsible for colonialism slavery and genocide throughout all the other continents all in order to enrich themselves. Most of those places are still suffering from the colonial leftovers and are still struggling to achieve full freedom. Most of the people from former Yugoslavia when they say European values what they really talk about our euros and couldn't care less about sexual freedoms gender equality or whatever. Even European Union uses double standards whenever it's suits their agenda. Same Russian gas that is apparently very bad for Bulgaria Serbia and Hungary is not so bad for Germans. This is the example of double standards and the fact that nuts everybody is equally equal but some are more equal than others. whenever any one of these poor countries in Southeastern Europe tries to protect their kind of me by stopping imports from European Union that are by the way heavily subsidized Europeans are going to call this unfair practice and are going to sanction this but at the same time they will do very same thing when their economies are threatened by likes of China or US. Every time I hear anyone mention European values I feel like puking.
