Montenegro drama: People, priests "defend" Serb baptistery

Wow, this monastery is 11 centuries old..?? And the Montenegans want to knock it down??? Amazing..!!!
This is such old history and should be preserved. In England we would have put a preservation order on such an old and historic building and it would be part of heritage.
Such short sighted views. Cant help but think that the powers in that country have something to do with this. I wonder if it was a Montenegrin monastery would it still be marked for destruction...??

More of Milo's shenanigans in an attempt to deflect the growing sentiment of the people to throw him in jail. If this baptistery is destroyed it will be a true tragedy. This is an historic Serbian site that should be preserved. But as we've seen throughout Serbian history, others have destroyed sacred Serb sites only to be rebuilt in time. If history has taught us anything, it is that the Serbian spirit cannot be broken. Most recently, this has been demonstrated in Kosovo where brave Albanians have desecrated Serb monasteries, churches and cemeteries only to be rebuilt. Eventually the people of Montenegro will find their souls again and return to their Serbian roots.

Yeah, well way back in history Crna Gora was the second Serbian State.

The Serbs don’t want to take control of Montenegro and everyone in Serbia and Montenegro knows this. My thoughts are that it’s a shame what the 90s did, they tore everyone a part, but I still wish the best for the ex-Yugoslav nations.

DD, unfortunately we can't fight the entire world! Unless something drastic happens, the West, with the help of the puppet Albanians, will probably Illegally steal a part of KiM. Of course KiM has been Serbian since time immemorial, but for now, we have to stand our ground and hope the world, in particular China and Russia, start flexing some strength. The US influence in the world is waning and the other two are gaining power and respect - so let's see how the next few years go. The US debt is clearly our of control and I'm not sure if they can afford to keep up their antics on a global basis - something has to give. Russian debt is minimal, and China's economy will shortly surpass the US. The world is very dynamic geopolitically right now, so who knows!!! The French can be swayed, but the UK and Germany probably not - too reliant on their boss, the US. But yes, KiM has always been Serbian and it should remain at any this way cost.

The sad truth is that it's both because Montenegrins are Serbs. It's just that they refused to be renamed Montenegrin. This monastery has been there for centuries and the same people were there too. It's all Serbs. The problem is that Milo has renamed it all Montenegrin as if that ethnic group is separate from Serbs.
It's just a geographical location. Same as Serbs from Bosnia and Serbs from Croatia. The sad thing is that Serbs from Montenegro are still Serbs and they can't see it any longer.
Some smart ones do and are trying to preserve it regardless of what they call it.

Stop spreading lies. Albanians originate from mountains around black sea (most likely present day turkey) so albanians are not from this region. Serbs on the other hand ARE from this region and are indigenous here. We did not come from "somewhere" and invade, we have been here all the time from the beginning, these are our lands!!!

You have a better chance trying to sell the world on Dardania versus Illyria, which by the way is out of the question. If you look at a map of territory associated with Dardania, all of it fall under today's Romania, Bulgaria, and Macedonia - all obviously situated East of you claim that Serbian land is somehow historically yours. Don't forget, there no evidence of Albanians in the area until around the 12th century, and an actual Albanian language in the 15th century. Hope this clears it up for you.
