Bob, I’ve lived in many different parts of the world and passed by 1000s of car dealers. I’ve never seen a ship delivering cars to a dealership.... I’ve always seen them come off a truck.

Read the article if you can, the plant is going to be moved it has to have to meet production and labour demands not "shipping costs" are not the issue. There are many plants being built in Georgia or Alabama and little to do with proximity to ports. Most of the car plants in Mexico are inland.

During my travels through Serbia last year I ended up in Užice. As I was driving along the main road leading out of the city I noticed a freight train travelling on the railway next to the main road. It was loaded up with hundreds of brand new Fiat 500L’s and was travelling south. My guess is that is was travelling to a port in Montenegro to be loaded onto a ship.

Why would anybody build cars in Albania? It’s by far the most unstable and corrupt country in the region. Even if Albania has a port, the cars would still need to be transported there via rail. Serbia already has the infrastructure needed.

Serbia uses the port of Bar. Their is a rail system and a new highway being built.

Akso Serbia has the Danuabe so it can ship throughout Europe easily

VW does not ship or sell Skoda in the USA. If Bob and his fellow smart Albanians want to load Skodas on ships in Adriatic ports for transport to Macedonia, Hungary, Austria, Czech, Switzerland, etc., then by all means please sail your amphibious ships to "deliver anything anywhere".
