He actually thinks sanctions are seriously harming Serbia's economy. Trade between Kosovo-Metohija and the rest of Serbia amounts to ~1% of Serbia's economy. It's the ordinary Albanians in Serbia's southern province that are paying more for bread and other food items due to the sanctions. Also, several Albanian outlets have reported that despite the sanctions, Serbian products are still finding their way onto shelves via Croatia and Montenegro.

If Serbia were to reciprocate, a simple look at the map will show that getting products from Kosovo-Metohija into Europe will become much more expensive if you can't go through the rest of Serbia to transport them. What then?

It's the ordinary Albanians in Serbia's southern province that are paying more for bread and other food items due to the sanctions. Also, several Albanian outlets have reported that despite the sanctions, Serbian products are still finding their way onto shelves via Croatia and Montenegro.

If Serbia were to reciprocate, a simple look at the map will show that getting products from Kosovo-Metohija into Europe will become much more expensive if you can't go through the rest of Serbia to transport them. What then?
