Or, we can just impose a 100% tax on everything that passes through Serbia! Oh wait, some other country in the Balkans tried to do this and it backfired..... and they made fools out of themselves.

The idea of road tolls came up here a few times. But I did not expect killing almost all international trains and running the remaining ones in horrible sanitary conditions was ever on the table.

Mission accomplished!

Remember the all-first-class Olympic Express between Beograd and Sarajevo?
Remember the daily Hellas Express from Munich to Athens via Nis?
Remember the daily Acropolis from Munich to Athens via Kosovo Polje?
Remember the daily Pushkin (train #9/#10) from Belgrade to Moscow via Cegléd?

Now you can't even reasonably go from Vojvodina to Bar.
And there won't be any train from Vienna or BP to Belgrade because of rail work. Which will take who-knows-how-long.

Because... MÁV and ZS could not agree with CFR (Romanian company) how to re-route the train via Timisoara.

And there was a daily train from Belgrade to Bucharest as well, via Timisoara of course.

Thanks,

I would like to know few things.

1) How can I transfer from Prokop (where trains from ZG or BP arrive) to Topcider (where trains to Bar start)?

2) Do you have vehicle transport cars from Subotica or Novi Sad to Bar? Because I hate to drive all the way.

3) What is the price of the Belgrade - Munich, Belgrade - Venice and Belgrade - Moscow ticket? Don't tell me, there is no train anymore - you promised all of them!

Thank you.
