Serbia wants its land back for those of you too lazy to research the meaning of this. Stolen by criminals illegally with the help of America. Serbia is proving that it will not allow its history to be forgotten as you so perfectly demonstrate. If you look at population of Kosovo, they had 1.8 million pre1999 but last elections over 500,000 voted outside Kosovo. Kosovo is partially empty much like the interior Albania where villages are empty – gone looking for a better life.
Kosovo will have special status. First a check of where and when these people were born since many migrated from Albania to reap the rewards of an impending paving by the US of streets in Pristina with 24 carat gold bricks which never. Naturally many will leave of their own accord knowing they will be deported anyway.
I am glad that you mentioned that no one passes through Kosovo to get to anywhere and that is true so why do Albos then talk as if Kosovo is a vital component in any part of the Balkans? Its only important to the US in their manoeuvring with Russia otherwise it a backwater not worth investing in.

I understand. But what can you do now, practically or realistically? You can't put toothpaste back in a tube, you can't put poop back in a donkey.

There are too many people there who do not want to be ruled by Belgrade.

The powers that be treated them as second class citizens since the formation of Yugoslavia. Rightfully or wrongly they managed to achieve independence. Unless you expel all of them I don't see how you can change history. No more than the Indians can get back most of their lands that were stolen by the US.

As far as who owns the land, well with the exception of public lands, in a free society private property should belong to the titled owner, regardless of nationality or ethnicity.

It's a mess, but Serbia missed its opportunity to fight for it in '99. If it was so important tey should have armed every able bodied Serb and fought to the last man. But Serbia capitulated.

I have now lived in the Balkans about 7 years including 4 in Serbia. Thank you for that very reasonable response. I do not argue your points except one. Serbs do not share the 'what can we do' attitude. Serbs know what they can do and are doing it, and will NEVER STOP. It's not even my choice or opinion it's a fact. So knowing that the ball is in Kosovas court and the Serbs are happy to wait and grow as is.

I understand. But what can you do now, practically or realistically? You can't put toothpaste back in a tube, you can't put poop back in a donkey.

There are too many people there who do not want to be ruled by Belgrade.

The powers that be treated them as second class citizens since the formation of Yugoslavia. Rightfully or wrongly they managed to achieve independence. Unless you expel all of them I don't see how you can change history. No more than the Indians can get back most of their lands that were stolen by the US.

As far as who owns the land, well with the exception of public lands, in a free society private property should belong to the titled owner, regardless of nationality or ethnicity.

It's a mess, but Serbia missed its opportunity to fight for it in '99. If it was so important tey should have armed every able bodied Serb and fought to the last man. But Serbia capitulated.

There is no way for it to come back. It's over. Stop fighting the last century's war.

Kosovo stopped lobbying for recognition 2 years ago.

They knew,that whatever they will do they can not make Russia to change her mind.

I don't know what Dacic will achieve with these moves, except strengthening Kosovo's argument on taxes.
Besides as long as US,Britain,Germany and France recognize Kosovo,Serbia can not do anything.

The powers that be treated them as second class citizens since the formation of Yugoslavia. Rightfully or wrongly they managed to achieve independence. Unless you expel all of them I don't see how you can change history. No more than the Indians can get back most of their lands that were stolen by the US.

As far as who owns the land, well with the exception of public lands, in a free society private property should belong to the titled owner, regardless of nationality or ethnicity.

It's a mess, but Serbia missed its opportunity to fight for it in '99. If it was so important tey should have armed every able bodied Serb and fought to the last man. But Serbia capitulated.

There is no way for it to come back. It's over. Stop fighting the last century's war.

Thank you for that very reasonable response. I do not argue your points except one. Serbs do not share the 'what can we do' attitude. Serbs know what they can do and are doing it, and will NEVER STOP. It's not even my choice or opinion it's a fact. There is no expelling or imprisoning or killing. Serbs are not Albanians who murder their opponents.
If they don’t like living in Kosovo there is always Albania, but one thing you can guarantee Albanians will vanish from that part of the Balkans because Belgrade will not create employment for them. If you look at population of Kosovo, they had 1.8 million pre1999 but last elections over 500,000 voted outside Kosovo. That’s 500,000 who bothered to vote and I have yet to see more than 60% vote in any non-compulsory election. What does that tell you? It means much more than 500,000 no longer live in Kosovo. Kosovo is partially empty much like the interior Albania where villages are empty – gone looking for a better life.
Kosovo will have special status. First a check of where and when these people were born since many migrated from Albania to reap the rewards of an impending paving by the US of streets in Pristina with 24 carat gold bricks which never. Naturally many will leave of their own accord knowing they will be deported anyway.
I am glad that you mentioned that no one passes through Kosovo to get to anywhere and that is true so why do Albos then talk as if Kosovo is a vital component in any part of the Balkans? Its only important to the US in their manoeuvring with Russia otherwise it a backwater not worth investing in.
If Serbs did not care about Kosovo it would have been given up years ago but they do.

As far as Serbs dancing in the streets after Twin towers, why not it was the US who nurtured fanatical Islam so they got what they deserved. Not only demolition of the towers but stuck in Afghanistan in an unwinnable war for nearly two decades which now they trying to negotiate an exit with their sworn enemies the Taliban.

What about ancestry? From parents? Or is second or third-generation "Albanian ethnicity" enough to get the person kicked out of Kosovo? And what about Novi Pazar? Shouldn't Albanians also get kicked out from the rest of Serbia?
