Kosovo declared independence in 2008. It has been recognized by over 100 countries, mostly powerful and democratic ones. I find it funny listening to Serbs saying "Kosovo is not independent", but at the same time say so-called RS a.k.a genocidna tvorevina is. One of the reasons you do that is because for far too long you've been living in a state of denial.

P.S. There are two possibilities. Kosovo independent or Kosovo part of Albania. For Kosovo to become part of Serbia (no chance in hell) you have to go back in time and undo everything you did during the 1990s. This is coming from Serbia:

Based on the response from the so called “International community”, which includes but is not limited to the EU, NATO, the USA, as well as Serbia’s traditional allies, it’s working out extremely well for Belgrade. I do think Belgrade is hoping for more Albanian nationalistic stupidity to showcase the criminal gang-leaders in Pristina, but the recent events probably exceed Belgrade’s expectations.

I’d compare it to the “wish” of EU visa-liberalization for Serbia and its KiM province....It’s only unfortunate for the residents of the fenced-in ghetto.

Prices are up in the ghetto and the tariff-busters (i.e. smugglers) are doing well (ie. most of the population in and around Mitrovica). The status of KiM as a corrupt, fenced-in ghetto has been further cemented by Pristina’s criminal leaders; the politicians in Belgrade are enjoying the display and watching the criminals isolate and increase the cost of living for the impoverished constituents of their fenced-in ghetto.

Kosovo declared independence in 2008. It has been recognized by over 100 countries, mostly powerful and democratic ones. I find it funny listening to Serbs saying "Kosovo is not independent", but at the same time say so-called RS a.k.a genocidna tvorevina is. One of the reasons you do that is because for far too long you've been living in a state of denial.

P.S. There are two possibilities. Kosovo independent or Kosovo part of Albania. For Kosovo to become part of Serbia (no chance in hell) you have to go back in time and undo everything you did during the 1990s. This is coming from Serbia:

Dissolving Yugoslavia dissolves such a resolution.

It goes with very small steps and will continue. The main thing for the moment is to get more withdrawals of recognition. The countries that are already ready in the next months to withdraw is one thing but your politicians must continue to work for another 15-20.

You are by far the winner of this mess. Many withdrawals, a international community (VERY important) that has warned the albanians over and over again the last several months including the US, The Special Chambers tribunal that will get several of the biggest gangsters away for a very long time,
decreasing support for the albanian leadership and so on.

So my point is if a citizen of Serbia who believes Kosovo is still part of Serbia and wants to enter Kosovo by land and if or she is denied entry for whatever reason and if he or she assaults a Kosovar administrative guard what will be the penalty? Not surprised that it's considered a felony to assault a Kosovar administrative guard.

Based on the response from the so called “International community”, which includes but is not limited to the EU, NATO, the USA, as well as Serbia’s traditional allies, it’s working out extremely well for Belgrade. I do think Belgrade is hoping for more Albanian nationalistic stupidity to showcase the criminal gang-leaders in Pristina, but the recent events probably exceed Belgrade’s expectations.

I’d compare it to the “wish” of EU visa-liberalization for Serbia and its KiM province....It’s only unfortunate for the residents of the fenced-in ghetto.

Prices are up in the ghetto and the tariff-busters (i.e. smugglers) are doing well (ie. most of the population in and around Mitrovica). The status of KiM as a corrupt, fenced-in ghetto has been further cemented by Pristina’s criminal leaders; the politicians in Belgrade are enjoying the display and watching the criminals isolate and increase the cost of living for the impoverished constituents of their fenced-in ghetto.
