Haradinaj is quite right. Albanians chose USA as a protector, and most obvious is that USA protect the so called "republic" of Kosovo, like it was promised. But, whose fault is it ? Good question, very bad answer choices. If I am even with one of the two my "ex"-es and their kids (not even from me) - save my wife, my first reaction would be to cut the perpetrator in about a million pieces first, than ask her: "was it right, honey?".
In politically, ethnically and ethically correct Russia and America this is 100% wrong behavior and I risk many years in jail.
The proper behavior: I should pull out a pen and a piece of paper and demand from the perpetrator to quickly sign an agreement.
In that agreement he would state, that he does not object to be cut in 100 pieces if he would try to rob or sexually attack the lady next to me. Than, he would state, none of his remaining pieces would talk to a lawyer.
Once I have his signature, I can proceed cutting him the way it should be. Otherwise I am going to be in jail.

I apparently know more about geopolitics than you considering it's no longer the 1990s, Milosevic is long dead, American foreign policy is tied down in the Middle East, Kosovo's Albanian leadership is no longer understood to be the poor victims of state-wide repression, and US relations with Serbia are quite good.
Plus, Serbia doesn't need to do anything to escalate conflict in Kosovo since Haradinaj is staking his political future on it while isolating himself and his runt of a statelet with every decision he makes on maintaining taxes and pushing for an army he'll never get. You think America is going to come to your rescue if you start something and Serbia retaliates? You think America is going to do something when they didn't in Syria or aren't in Yemen?

Albanians have been a key US ally for decades now, but recently they’ve made even more progress by allowing the US to militarize the Albanian space to the fullest. The region better realize again that the Albanian space is becoming heavily militarized, this time not by Soviets or China, but by the US. Big military bases are due to be built in Albania and Kosovo, along with a large boost in arms, and even continental shields. So whatever pipe dreams you might be having about territorial gains or objections to independence, it doesn’t really matter because you can do much about it. In fact, it only makes it clear that Belgrade is serving as Russia’s disgruntled voice. The region better realize again that the Albanian space is becoming heavily militarized, this time not by Soviets or China, but by the US. Big military bases are due to be built in Albania and Kosovo, along with a large boost in arms, and even continental shields. So whatever pipe dreams you might be having about territorial gains or objections to independence, it doesn’t really matter because you can do much about it. In fact, it only makes it clear that Belgrade is serving as Russia’s disgruntled voice. Which is why it won’t get far with any of this, it’s not like any of them can take on the US, which is essentially what Albania and Kosovo have become, a 51st and 52nd US state.

I apparently know more about geopolitics than you considering it's no longer the 1990s, Milosevic is long dead, American foreign policy is tied down in the Middle East, Kosovo's Albanian leadership is no longer understood to be the poor victims of state-wide repression, and US relations with Serbia are quite good.
Plus, Serbia doesn't need to do anything to escalate conflict in Kosovo since Haradinaj is staking his political future on it while isolating himself and his runt of a statelet with every decision he makes on maintaining taxes and pushing for an army he'll never get. Good question, very bad answer choices. If I am even with one of the two my "ex"-es and their kids (not even from me) - save my wife, my first reaction would be to cut the perpetrator in about a million pieces first, than ask her: "was it right, honey?".

The proper behavior: I should pull out a pen and a piece of paper and demand from the perpetrator to quickly sign an agreement.

To answer Chi’s projective question, a Serb would probably ask Russia and China for help. Isn’t it who they are begging? They could also ask Madagascar for help though, or even better, Cyprus, who couldn’t even protect itself from a tiny scratch by Turkey. Unless you really believe that internally divided Serbia can truly stand up for itself LOL!

Good question, very bad answer choices. If I am even with one of the two my "ex"-es and their kids (not even from me) - save my wife, my first reaction would be to cut the perpetrator in about a million pieces first, than ask her: "was it right, honey?".
In politically, ethnically and ethically correct Russia and America this is 100% wrong behavior and I risk many years in jail.
The proper behavior: I should pull out a pen and a piece of paper and demand from the perpetrator to quickly sign an agreement.
In that agreement he would state, that he does not object to be cut in 100 pieces if he would try to rob or sexually attack the lady next to me. Than, he would state, none of his remaining pieces would talk to a lawyer.
Once I have his signature, I can proceed cutting him the way it should be. Otherwise I am going to be in jail.

I apparently know more about geopolitics than you considering it's no longer the 1990s, Milosevic is long dead, American foreign policy is tied down in the Middle East, Kosovo's Albanian leadership is no longer understood to be the poor victims of state-wide repression, and US relations with Serbia are quite good.
Plus, Serbia doesn't need to do anything to escalate conflict in Kosovo since Haradinaj is staking his political future on it while isolating himself and his runt of a statelet with every decision he makes on maintaining taxes and pushing for an army he'll never get. You think America is going to come to your rescue if you start something and Serbia retaliates? You think America is going to do something when they didn't in Syria or aren't in Yemen?
Especially when Washington has been clear it's against any escalation of conflict?

Haradinaj is quite right. Albanians chose USA as a protector, and most obvious is that USA protect the so called "republic" of Kosovo, like it was promised. But, whose fault is it ? Serbia chose her Orthodox sister Russia, who, by the way, will never ever risk any conflict with the West, nor would China in spite what certain think.One must also admit that there are great differences between rhose three countries.
