Commenting on the announced formation of an army in Kosovo, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday that she hoped Serbia would not have to use its army.

Right, but in 2018 the methods should be different than in 1918.
If you notice, there is one word completely missing from Russian and Chinese political vocabulary: "enemy".

That word can quickly be reinstated.
My point was that no country is ever alone. There is always another whose interests would be threatened if that country was invaded.
Interests will be defended. Bondsteel is an interest for the US but Russia and China, especially China have invested much in Serbia. Western corporations have also invested a lot and if there was any threat of their investments being blown up they would not sit back and just accept it.
Don't make a mistake that only the US is willing to protect their investments.

If you notice, there is one word completely missing from Russian and Chinese political vocabulary: "enemy".

Today everyone is "partner", be it Albanian-Kosovo or India or Brazil.
Different partners ask for different treatment and strategy.

And at the end we want to sell them railroads, computers, cars, titanium alloys, machinery, oil... You can't sell these to enemies.

Of course, Kosovo-Albanians are friends of Russia. Just a bit different friends than Serbia or Israel.

Serbia should understand that and act accordingly. Otherwise Russia or China will say the same what Edi Rama said: "WTF".

Next what would happen with trucks.

If Serbian government would be smart, they would of course introduce all these transit measures as "to offset the 100% tax" and "to save the environment from global warming" and to "reduce the pollution" and of course to "help persons living in Kosovo to reach their destination in Europe". Everyone knows, these trucks are a menace for personal travel.

Formally neither U.S. nor NATO nor EU would do the same.

To the contrary: putting the trucks on the train is a known practice across the Channel, in Switzerland and in Slovenia.

Of course the Thessaloniki - Belgrade - Budapest high-speed rail line is not ready yet.

Neither is the Istanbul - Edirne - Sofia - Nis branch.

But: "we working hard on the solution with our partners from China and Russia" sounds politically reasonable.

In the mean time... no trucks in Serbia with plates from countries which recognized Kosovo. Freight traffic collapsed.

The private persons and the bus companies will jump up and down in joy. Everyone knows, the Turkish, Bulgarian, Croatian and Polish trucks are a public danger for the road safety.

Put a huge number of combat soldiers, armoured vehicles and special units at the following spots:
Tutin
Kopaonik
Stava
Merdare
Medvedja
Konculj and
Peceno (outside Presevo).

And the next step will be China and Russia crying bloody murder and asking for Hague #2.

And Belarus imposing sanctions on Serbia.

This is because doing that Serbia would ignore own resources and the current Russian and Chinese strategy.

Which is... fight ruthlessly on the economic front and kick the opponents where it hurts the most (economy).

My suggestion would be much friendlier. Greet every Kosovar privately entering Serbia with big smile, instruct the MUP not to touch any car with KS plates for minor offenses.

The same time ruthlessly impose transit sanctions on commercial vehicles from all countries which recognized Kosovo independent.

The money from transit sanctions should go into a special fund to help Serbs in Kosovo.

The sanctions should be brutal like 10K Euro / truck for Hungary-Macedonia or Hungary - Bulgaria transit.

NATO, EU, USA will be toothless. The entire EU - Middle East commercial traffic will collapse.

Easy now Serbia, stay on track and dont fall for these tricks.

Everyone knows that Serbia nowadays would crush the whole of Kosovo resistace in a couple of days contrary to what the keyboard warriors here. Thats a fact and all major stakeholders knows this.
But I would not advice Serbia to start anything and to go for this bait. The K albanians will come out as loosers of this mess.

What I would advice you to do instead is the following;

So this so-called Prime Minister is threating a sovereign nation, saying Serbia will just attack Kosovo without being attacked first?! LOL.
The Albanian PM could easily reply with the same statement since Albania's constitution obliges it to protect Kosovo. Rama is not as stupid as these Serbian "rookies" though.

So funny to listen all the Albanians calling on as many people to come fight their battles. The KLA were pathetic compared to the Serbian army. Had NATO not bombed Serbia, you'd have the same population as we have in Kosovo now. You're living on stolen land and you know it. These Serbs on here who have never fired a pistol in their life think they know about war LOL go ask the Serbs who fought in Kosova in 1999 about the KLA, see what they tell you. Momir Stojanovic said they had 150,000 soldiers there and they couldn’t do much to the KLA. That was an “ill-equipped” guerilla army back then, just think how much stronger Kosovar Albanians are now. Albania who is much stronger too would definitely get involved, plus don’t forget the Albanians in Macedonia who have a guerilla army too (2015 kumanova) you don’t think they would jump in. I opet Brnabićeva pominje Oluju tako da negira istinu i haške presude. Čemu to služi? Traži opravdanje za nove ratove koje planira sa Vučićem i Dodikom? These Serbs on here who have never fired a pistol in their life think they know about war LOL go ask the Serbs who fought in Kosova in 1999 about the KLA, see what they tell you. Momir Stojanovic said they had 150,000 soldiers there and they couldn’t do much to the KLA. That was an “ill-equipped” guerilla army back then, just think how much stronger Kosovar Albanians are now. Albania who is much stronger too would definitely get involved, plus don’t forget the Albanians in Macedonia who have a guerilla army too (2015 kumanova) you don’t think they would jump in. Everyone knows that Serbia nowadays would crush the whole of Kosovo resistace in a couple of days contrary to what the keyboard warriors here. Thats a fact and all major stakeholders knows this.

What I would advice you to do instead is the following;

Put a huge number of combat soldiers, armoured vehicles and special units at the following spots:
Tutin
Kopaonik
Stava
Merdare
Medvedja
Konculj and
Peceno (outside Presevo).
This to be ready for a big and quick response to seal of the province if the albanians behave to bad. This is not advisable at present, but good to be ready if the shit hits the fan.
Then we will se how tough the albanians, that are well known at least in Europe, to be cowards.

This is because doing that Serbia would ignore own resources and the current Russian and Chinese strategy.

Which is... fight ruthlessly on the economic front and kick the opponents where it hurts the most (economy).

My suggestion would be much friendlier. Greet every Kosovar privately entering Serbia with big smile, instruct the MUP not to touch any car with KS plates for minor offenses.

The same time ruthlessly impose transit sanctions on commercial vehicles from all countries which recognized Kosovo independent.

The money from transit sanctions should go into a special fund to help Serbs in Kosovo.

The sanctions should be brutal like 10K Euro / truck for Hungary-Macedonia or Hungary - Bulgaria transit.

NATO, EU, USA will be toothless. The entire EU - Middle East commercial traffic will collapse.

If Serbian government would be smart, they would of course introduce all these transit measures as "to offset the 100% tax" and "to save the environment from global warming" and to "reduce the pollution" and of course to "help persons living in Kosovo to reach their destination in Europe". Everyone knows, these trucks are a menace for personal travel.

Formally neither U.S. nor NATO nor EU would do the same.

To the contrary: putting the trucks on the train is a known practice across the Channel, in Switzerland and in Slovenia.

Of course the Thessaloniki - Belgrade - Budapest high-speed rail line is not ready yet.

If you notice, there is one word completely missing from Russian and Chinese political vocabulary: "enemy".

Today everyone is "partner", be it Albanian-Kosovo or India or Brazil.
Different partners ask for different treatment and strategy.

And at the end we want to sell them railroads, computers, cars, titanium alloys, machinery, oil... You can't sell these to enemies.

Of course, Kosovo-Albanians are friends of Russia. Just a bit different friends than Serbia or Israel.

That word can quickly be reinstated.
My point was that no country is ever alone. There is always another whose interests would be threatened if that country was invaded.
Interests will be defended. Bondsteel is an interest for the US but Russia and China, especially China have invested much in Serbia. Western corporations have also invested a lot and if there was any threat of their investments being blown up they would not sit back and just accept it.
Don't make a mistake that only the US is willing to protect their investments.

Easy now Serbia, stay on track and dont fall for these tricks.

Everyone knows that Serbia nowadays would crush the whole of Kosovo resistace in a couple of days contrary to what the keyboard warriors here. Thats a fact and all major stakeholders knows this.
But I would not advice Serbia to start anything and to go for this bait. The K albanians will come out as loosers of this mess.

What I would advice you to do instead is the following;

Put a huge number of combat soldiers, armoured vehicles and special units at the following spots:
Tutin
Kopaonik
Stava
Merdare
Medvedja
Konculj and
Peceno (outside Presevo).
This to be ready for a big and quick response to seal of the province if the albanians behave to bad. This is not advisable at present, but good to be ready if the shit hits the fan.
Then we will se how tough the albanians, that are well known at least in Europe, to be cowards.

This is because doing that Serbia would ignore own resources and the current Russian and Chinese strategy.

Which is... fight ruthlessly on the economic front and kick the opponents where it hurts the most (economy).

My suggestion would be much friendlier. Greet every Kosovar privately entering Serbia with big smile, instruct the MUP not to touch any car with KS plates for minor offenses.

The same time ruthlessly impose transit sanctions on commercial vehicles from all countries which recognized Kosovo independent.

The money from transit sanctions should go into a special fund to help Serbs in Kosovo.

The sanctions should be brutal like 10K Euro / truck for Hungary-Macedonia or Hungary - Bulgaria transit.

Next what would happen with trucks.

If Serbian government would be smart, they would of course introduce all these transit measures as "to offset the 100% tax" and "to save the environment from global warming" and to "reduce the pollution" and of course to "help persons living in Kosovo to reach their destination in Europe". Everyone knows, these trucks are a menace for personal travel.

Formally neither U.S. nor NATO nor EU would do the same.

To the contrary: putting the trucks on the train is a known practice across the Channel, in Switzerland and in Slovenia.

If you notice, there is one word completely missing from Russian and Chinese political vocabulary: "enemy".

Today everyone is "partner", be it Albanian-Kosovo or India or Brazil.
Different partners ask for different treatment and strategy.

And at the end we want to sell them railroads, computers, cars, titanium alloys, machinery, oil... You can't sell these to enemies.

Of course, Kosovo-Albanians are friends of Russia. Just a bit different friends than Serbia or Israel.

That word can quickly be reinstated.
My point was that no country is ever alone. There is always another whose interests would be threatened if that country was invaded.
Interests will be defended. Bondsteel is an interest for the US but Russia and China, especially China have invested much in Serbia. Western corporations have also invested a lot and if there was any threat of their investments being blown up they would not sit back and just accept it.
Don't make a mistake that only the US is willing to protect their investments.
