I don't think you addressed the unfortunate and naive teacher from "Frisco". The later is probably gone from this world and sitting on the top of some white cloud above us. Regardless, all my best wishes to him, I shouldn't probably tease him that hard 8 years ago.

Me thinks, the regular troll is just more active, no wonder old ghosts lile Mark.W or Roberto re-surfaced. Missing the "Cry me a River" and few more. New "users" like SOS appeared, too. How cute, SOS just appeared - but knows about B92 regulars 10 years back.

This is why no Serbian should trust Westerners. Because they don't view us Serbians as equals. They blame all Serbians for the SINs of the 90s. For some reason, they hold Serbians to a higher moral standard and will always judge us negatively

@Roberto

It's about time that Kosovo shows some muscle. They are absolutely, um, 100% justified. The Serb authorities want to play nasty, and then are shocked when their neighbor stands up to them. The Milosevic sickness has never left these ppl (majority), and that is tragic.

I think that Serbia can weather "the storm".
(Peggy, 22 November 2018 23:52)

Well, you have to remember a lot of these idiots live outside of and have probably never been to Kosovo, so whatever vision they have in their oxygen-starved heads is of this giant power that can now suddenly renegotiate a bunch of economic trade deals away from Serbia and towards the fictitiously economically powerful countries of Macedonia and Albania.

Everything is wonderful in the eyes of those who don't live there. Meanwhile, Kosovo's economy is already taking a major hit, but don't expect any official with offshore bank accounts to admit it.

If this keeps up for another week, Plasma keks will be worth more than heroin and Albanian child prostitutes combined :)

Kosovo, do you really believe that Serbia will give you up, just like that, with nothing in return.
Kosovo, you are holding your people hostage to a pipe dream, you keep yerking off to a notion that one day you'll be independent from Serbia, only to be annexed to Albania as soon as at that were to realise.
Nations garner respect by talking and negotiating their way out of situations and look to find common ground with their neighbours.
One thing you don't do is hold your neighbour to ransom and expect a positive outcome.
100% tax on Serbian goods..Bad move and the best of luck with that.
Really, who do think Serbians are? Idiots?

According the Wiki:

Serbia's foreign trade in 2017 was $17 billion in exports, $21.9 billion in imports.
Kosovo foreign trade in 2017 was $1.5 billion in exports, $3.8 billion in imports.

The Serbia-Kosovo trade is a separate chapter because technically it is neither export, nor import.

Serbia sold goods for EUR 350 million during first 9 months of 2018, Bosnia for EUR 80 million (that was 2017).
Imports from Kosovo were EUR 30 million and EUR 8 million for the same time

Source here:
http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/serbian-kosovo-media-wage-war-over-tax-hike-11-22-2018

Regardless, how we calculate EUR USD rate it looks like a huge impact on Kosovo and quite a small, if any on Serbia.

The 100% tax will be circumvented by Albanians using the re-export trick, they are already doing that.
The building industry will suffer the most, some materials can't be replaced.

The result will be the same re-export trick, few more middlemen involved.

The direct impact for Serbia will be about 3.5% on the short run.
On the long run much less than that: almost all products will be re-packed somewhere else.

There will be a permanent shortage of Serbian newspapers. No economic data about that.

Serbia better realize that without recognition it won’t be able to negotiate anything. They thought that recognition “withdrawals” or blocks in international organization membership was going to faze Kosovo, but that’s not really happening is it? In fact, Kosovo is doubling down, mainly because the US is instructing it to. The EU has lost its reputation when it didn’t liberalize visas and when it allowed dissenters within it to dictate its foreign policy. Now Kosovo is relying solely on US advice, individual EU member advice (UK, Germany), and regional advice (Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia). That’s what’s up right now.

Nah, don't think so. Kosovo's budget is enjoying the millions collected from Serbian companies exporting to Kosovo. Haradinaj needs more funding for his army and he's gaining political points by mandating all Serbian products state "Republic of Kosovo", removing "Kosovo and Metohia" from goods labels. EU pressure has lost its appeal, especially now that Kosovo realized the visa decision will be dragged further. Don't count on Kosovo giving up that kind of tariff money.

This is just the beginning anyways, the Kosovo government has announced more reciprocate measures to come. Making drivers from Serbia remove their license plates in Kosovo is just one more measure announced today. Requiring visas for Serbian citizens may be another measure. I bet those radical priests and their hooligans coming to celebrate Vidovdan will enjoy having to apply for visas to enter the Republic of Kosovo.

Idiots?

LOL

These idiots are acting like Kosovo is some economic powerhouse.

Yup

The Milosevic sickness has never left these ppl (majority), and that is tragic.
(roberto, 23 November 2018 06:47)

That's only the first part of the tragedy.

Ramush & Co. is a warlord, not a politician. Now a group of warlords (aided by a milosevic-veteran in Montenegro) act against a group of milosevic-veterans who weasel between Bruxelles and Moscow.

That's the second part of the tragedy.

Certainly not the last.

Correct?

You sound like your masters-hawks from CIA, Pentagon and NATO. You want force and you want war so you can blame the others for it. You stole Kosovo from Serbia and such Kosovo will not be recognized as country never.

It's about time that Kosovo shows some muscle. They are absolutely, um, 100% justified. The Serb authorities want to play nasty, and then are shocked when their neighbor stands up to them. The Milosevic sickness has never left these ppl (majority), and that is tragic.

By the way, to be a member of CEFTA you got to be a country... independent country.

Is that why "Kosova"*** is represented through UNMIK? Because it's not an independent country? LOL!

I give this childish stunt two weeks at best :)
(LOL, 22 November 2018 14:07)

It will be longer than that, until Haradinaj is gone.
The price of bread and other vital products is already up.
The same time some Albanian traders already appear with "banned" Serbian goods and sell them under the table.

Not even 24 hours are gone, the scenario is as predicted: prices up, but not by 100%, smuggler mafia is happy, "virtual" re-exports via Montenegro or some other countries are being organized.

The 10% is few days old, now it is 100%. Desperation.

Haradinaj now earned an other nick: "hysterical primadonna"

Your supreme commander Vučić said that these measures are catastrophic for Serbia and your PM Brnabić cried out to Chinese ambassador saying that Serbia has never been in a worst situation. She said NEVER.

You better think again who's the idiot.

This is why no Serbian should trust Westerners. Because they don't view us Serbians as equals. They blame all Serbians for the SINs of the 90s. For some reason, they hold Serbians to a higher moral standard and will always judge us negatively

Roger7 probably crying, "Doot" - Danilo multiplies like fruit flies.

THIS IS THE REALITY TODAY. BELGRADE IS SO AFRAID OF KOSOVA'S INDEPENCE AND IT SHEIVERS ANY TIME KOSOVA REACTS. NOT BECAUSE KOSOVA IS AN ECONOMIC POWER HOUSE, BUT BECAUSE THESE KIND OF MEASURES ARE NEEDED TO SHOW BELGRADE THAT KOSOVA IS GONE FOR EVER. THANKS TO US,BRITISH & GERMAN SUPPORT (BEHIND THE DOORS FOR THIS MATTER) THE TAX OUT TO BE VALID UNTIL OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF THE KOSOVA'S INDEPENDENCE. BE GONE!
