Angela’s envoy
(JS, 26 October 2018 09:53)

Fake Serb when did you go to China? Never? But you are an expert on Chinese standard of living. You, like most Americans, are stuck in a time warp and TV reaffirms that the US is the best.
The Chinese economy surpassed the US in September 2014, but no one dares mention that in the western media. Only a few US economists admit this fact, including Nobel prize winner, Robert Stiglitz.
If you travel through Europe you would see the masses of Chinese in Venice, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam and so on. Today, there are close to 700 million middle class Chinese whereas the middle class in the US is a fast disappearing entity.
Perhaps the success of the US economy is the reason most have not received a proper wage rise in over 30 years.
Putin did not cut pensions he raised the pension age, but most countries have done the same including the UK where the retirement threshold has been lifted to 66 from 2020 then rising to 67 between 2026 and 2028. Australia’s retirement age has also been lifted to 67.
So please keep your CNN/Fox propaganda to yourself.

Reality and history confirm that Germany, as a government, has never been Serbia's friend.
Worse yet, Merkel is from East German Commie Think : today's "Globalism".
Even Germans reject her. Why? She is dissolving Germany, much less all of European national identity. Ideology can be a deadly thing. The answer to national identity is not "no identity". Thus, Albanians in Kosovo do not make it Albanian, just as Turks in Berlin do not make the city Istanbul !

"Before the economic sanctions Russia's economy was growing faster than any European countries and is now growing again. China has already passed up the Us." (Robert Schrantz, 26 October 2018 07:35)

And China has passed up the US in what way? Standard of living? I think not. And that Russian economic growth is the reason Putin cut pensions? Please keep your Sputnik propaganda to yourself.

Serbia shouldn't put up with these idiots and would be much better of joining the Eurasian economic union in the long run.The European union is starting to stagnate England has left and they try to put sanctions on countries such as Poland and Hungary for wanting to preserve there culture and Christian roots. All of the economic migrants are a ticking time bom which severely hurt the economy and cause a huge spike in crime. Before the economic sanctions Russia's economy was growing faster than any European countries and is now growing again. China has already passed up the Us. economy and our ally India is supposed to pass up China in 20 years. The European union is also crowded with much of its natural resources already depleted.

Rock lobster, I have never been in favour of Serbia joining the EU and hope it never does that.
Now there was Doris Pack, Andreas Schockenhoff, Johannes Hahn who made similar overtones and now Peter Beyer. There will be many more who will remind Serbia of Germany’s current policy and Serbia will ignore them LOL.
What should have been be done is Angela Merkel to say or send an official letter to Vucic that Serbia will not join the EU until it recognises Kosovo then there would be no doubt. Alas that will never happen, and another 4 chapters will be opened by Christmas LOL.
What Beyer is doing is reiterating Germany’s current policy, that’s all. It means little. You don’t understand as its far to complex for you and even if I attempted to explain it, it would fly over your head.

Some little addition.

The price of gasoline in Hungary is about 3 times higher than in Russia or U.S. and 10% over Austria. Same with the food. The price of the train ticket per mile is more than in Sweden (let's not talk about Russia).

I think, this is 100% justified because Hungarian salaries are at least three times higher than Russian (or American or Swedish ones). And Austrians dream to become Hungarian "Gastarbeiter"-s.

Thank you Hungary, my next vacation is in Hungary. Ooops, I am in Hungary now.

The biggest happiness for Serbia is to become an EU country like Hungary, way to go.

Indeed, but I will go even further. Sorry for Peggy / SJ / Peter the Rocky, etc. - this does not apply for you. Be happy in your Rockies, Australia, Canada.

There is a very nasty problem all over Serbia, Ukraina, Russia, Kosov@, Slovenia, etc.

There is a nasty ethnic discrimination which makes us people of second class. This discrimination is made by your Soros / neo-lib / neo-con conman, but I can't do much about it.

Travel to Kosov@, Russia, Slovenia, Poland. Please try to buy something. That "something" can be a dishwasher, a Japanese / American / German car, 200 grams of Black Forest Ham or Feta Cheese.

No matter, what - you will discover that what you did buy is of LOWER standard than the same product sold in Germany (France, UK, USA, etc).

But the EU needs Serbia much more as a member ( because of the Geographie location ) than Serbia will need the EU.
Times are changing anyway, and the sudden rush displayed by the US-State Dept. shows that at least they seem to anticipate the nearing end of their 'full scale dominance' ovrt the socalled Balkans.
They seem to realize that their Project could very well fail.

How's this for a solution? Kosovo grants its citizenship to all Serbian citizens. The two areas form a customs union. With those two steps, no border is necessary. Serbia can continue to act as if they are one country, and Kosovo can continue to act as if it's independent. They should continue solving all the non-status technical issues and join the EU simultaneously, Serbia as a country and Kosovo as an entity which other individual EU members can interpret according to their own positions (e.g. France thinks it's a country but Spain thinks its an autonomous region). Finally, Kosovo should get observer status in the UN. What does anyone lose from the above?

Firstly, we are not Serb radical anything and we certainly don't live in denial. We've always known that recognition of Kosovo is required to enter EU. I've been saying for a long time now.
The fact that politicians aren't saying it could be because they are stalling for time. It's great taking European money and ideas knowing entry to EU is not compulsory. Merkel and her cronies won't be in power forever either and Serbia can afford to wait them out.
Nothing has to be decided today and the only people in a hurry to settle this matter are K-Albanians.

They keep threatening that unless Serbia recognizes Kosovo there won't be EU membership while investing and helping Serbia all the way.

Don't listen to some trumped-up German's opinion. It is about time we changed borders in Europe... Let's partition Germany first. Say, 5 or 6 little Germany's about the size of Malta. The rest can be given to Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands and Denmark. Those countries which Germans love to invade. The Germans themselves can be resettled in the Sahara.

Great to have the (not so secret) indecent proposal out in open.

That's fine given Angela looks like being on her way out just as much as many more in the EU commission - This time next year lets see who has the same stance.

There is clearly panic in the German and EU ranks and its plain to see that they are running out of time and steam to keep propping up this failed so called Kosova**.

Were it a matter of "please Vucic sell out and you'll get in EU in 6 months" I would be concerned, the fact that this stick (indecent proposal) is followed with a limp carrot of you can join in ....maybe 2028, maybe.... means there is nothing to be gained and its just another half-hearted set of words to keep the ensnared Kalbanians with their self imposed cage.

If both sides come to an agrememt, than any 3rd party should accept it, never mind if it is than one country (never mind which name this country would get), an exchange or a seperation in the current regions of influence.
The only problem is, that the politician in power do not really want to solve that issue.

Worse yet, Merkel is from East German Commie Think : today's "Globalism".
Even Germans reject her. Why? She is dissolving Germany, much less all of European national identity. Ideology can be a deadly thing. The answer to national identity is not "no identity". Thus, Albanians in Kosovo do not make it Albanian, just as Turks in Berlin do not make the city Istanbul !

Um, I hate to break it to this Kraut, but recognition of Kosovo is drawing new boundaries based on ethnic principles.

How much is Europe on Albanian side then?

Don't listen to some trumped-up German's opinion. It is about time we changed borders in Europe... Let's partition Germany first. Say, 5 or 6 little Germany's about the size of Malta. The Germans themselves can be resettled in the Sahara.
