I think that both Ukraine and Belarus (and please let's not mention Russia) is ahead of Romania in terms of life quality.

Kosovo is by far the worst place in ex-Yugo, but it is still light years ahead of Albania.

I do not know, is Romania ahead of Serbia or not. I think, Serbia or Macedonia is marginally better (except southern, non-Serbian part of Kosovo of course). I am not sure about that.

I can't be impartial regarding Romanians because they took a lot of our territory in the past.

However, all Romanians I ever met were exceptionally nice.

In addition to that, I was always (extremely) welcome in Romanian parts of Romania (like Bukovina).

So no hard feelings here.
