I am sorry at the loss of the 2 serbian drivers. I lost my friend in the accident in the other truck. As we all know in the trucking world it is one of the most dangerous job. I do believe that that article that the author quoted was lost in translation. Here is an article from the local paper. Again very sorry to all families involved in this accident. R.I.P

Whoever wrote this article needs to check their sources. It was my friend who was killed in the other truck. He was traveling southbound. The other truck with the two gentlemen from Serbia lost control and crashed into the southbound lanes and hit him. Feel free to visit the scene of the accident to confirm this. Or contact the Illinois State police.

It is "decent enough" indeed and from point of view of free enterprise, pursuing your dreams or keep up with technology it is one of the best if not the best.

However, one should keep eyes and ears open - at one point in the life many (ex) immigrants could be far better of at home.

Nothing prevents them to pack - and that's what many from Europe (geographically, not politically) doing.

As far as the accident - (almost) nothing can you do with such freak cases. Merely hope, you will be spared. And try to drive better / safer cars. Many trucks aren't as safe as their size does suggest. An older American truck made before the unibody structure was made quasi-mandatory and crash tests were performed is very well a death trap.

Didn't they or the other driver have insurance? If it was the other driver who crossed the lane, as the article says, then his insurance should pay.
I don't understand why Serbs keep coming to the U.S. with its very anti-Serb government.

Ida , insurance needs to be taken to court by the desist person's family, which takes time.
Second ,usually people get buried in the country of death ,it is not up to the insurance company to fly you all the way to Serbia to get your body buried in Krajevo .
Very immature comments by you ,Ida.
