USA doesn't rule out Serbia-Kosovo border correction idea

I As a Albanian am for the idea of correcting borders. Why?? Kosova does not have full control of North Mitrovica regardless. If they swapped it with Presevo/Medvec/Bujanoc all the votes in the parliament Serb wise would be gone. Then Kosova can turn around vote to create a army.. Then after that... Hold a referendum to change the constitution and join Albania witch would pass by 90% or more in both countries. The whole isolation of Kosova can end. As they would be able to get Albanian passports.

Territorial exchange works best for the Serbia-Kosovo situation. It would be great if it happened in a legally binding fashion and it would in fact set a positive precedent, considering that the use of force has almost always been the norm in the region.

No border correction only in Serbia. If in other republics, too, then it's okay.

Trepca belongs to Serbs and there is nothing you can do about it. Many more Kosovars will lose their lives and no natural resources. But I do recall that the west gave you plenty of depleted uranium to play with.
If the Serbs were defeated it would have been done by NATO not a rabble of Albanians so stop trying to take credit for something you have not done. Sadly for you guys Serbs have not been defeated otherwise NATO would be in Belgrade LOL.

The problem here is that Presevo/Medvec/Bujanovci no longer have an Albanian majority. Most have left for greener pastures in the EU when the west declared that Yugoslavia was no longer a country so you guys have nothing to exchange. The west will not allow Kosovo to join with Albania since it would open the question of Macedonia plus the fact that the interior of Albania is vacant since over 1 million Albanians have left seeking a better lifestyle.

First of-all, the so called international community should explain why only Serbia should change its borders, knowing , for example, that the French Constitution says, " that France is one unity and not dividable", which also goes for any other country. Changing the so called frontiers would encourage the creation of the "Great Albania", but changing frontiers in Bosnia is not allowed. The same goes for Catalonia in Spain. The minority in Spain or France is not allowed to ask the independence, but in Serbia those who want can freely create their own states with the help of the international community.

Rest assured dear that Albanians have no intention to round up thousands of people, tie them up and execute them and Albanians also have no intention to cause the departure of at least 700000 people from their homes. If/when some Albanians get involved in actions like those, I totally agree with you that they would fully deserve the fate of people like Mladic, Karadzic or Pavkovic.

Im for a partition as well because i dont want all of kosovos inhabitants to have access to serbia or be able to vote in serbia. It is my opinion that this type of expansion being practiced will backfire on albanians though.
