That tank's spinning gear was most likely broken since 90's and could not mechanicaly perform the 180° spin. I am pretty sure that due to severe money shortages Serbia wasn't able to repair it.

I have heard about many other Serbian tanks with the same defect. You know, their mother Russia isn't sending spare parts because Serbia cannot pay. No money - no balalaika! And I fully understand Russians, they have to pay for their vodka somehow.

Just look at all the expulsions of Russians and western diplomats happening.
