Turkey accuses EU of "favoring Balkan candidates"

Of course the balkan countries are closer to EU than Turkey now.
And that's because Turkey moved away more and more from European standards and values under the autocratic islamo-fashist Erdogan regime.

I don’t remember any Balkan countries threatening the EU with blackmail and calling on their diaspora to cause havoc on foreign soil because their little facist sultan was offended by foreign journalists and comedians. In the Balkans there may be allot of economic and social problems but every single country is ahead of Turkey in every possible way from freedom of the press to freedom of religion. The migrants from the Balkans have gone to Western Europe and worked their butts off, while also building their nation states back home. However Turks in Europe even after three generations have achieved almost nothing, in Germany more than two thirds of all Turks are unemployed and on welfare and similar figures are present in the rest of Western Europe. Erdogan wants to ressurect the Ottoman Empire and make Turkey a new European superpower. I hate to break it to the Turks there’s no more Albanians, Greeks, Slavs and Armenians to build the new empire, the tens of millions you had in your borders have mixed with the poor uneducated Middle Easterners that flooded the great cities of Western Anatolia from the east thanks to The Young Turks and Ataturks stupid Pan-Turkic policies that relied on the old millet system instead of creating a multicultural, multiethnic vibrant nation state based on nationality like the US, Canada etc. Turkey under Erdogan is on a downward spiral and if the Balkans doesn’t cut the cord anytime soon we’ll go down with them too.

Also they don’t let dictators in. Erdogan just arrests any opposition & creates state of emergency with special powers until he has cleared away anyone who doesn’t agree. There’s more democracy in Serbia’s southern province of Kosovo than in Turkey & that’s truly saying something.

Utter rubbish.Turkey's influence on the Balkans extend ad far as Albania,kosovo and Bosnia, the rezt are Christian countries.I would agree with you that Erdogan will go down and US is working hard on it through the economy.The Turkish currency has lost most of its value and inflation is high on double digit figures.The neocons never forget when their puppets change sides or try to shout out their importance as often as erdo does.His days are numbered.

Albania always refused to surrender the so called Gulenist to Turkey and after a lot of threats.
What can we say about Serbia??
Is not important what you are - Muslim or the so called Christians like Serbs who made Erdogan an HONORABLE CITIZEN in Serbia.

also in march was big grow in salaries then in summer big grow in pensions so the gdp will accelerate in next quaters as in 2017

in 2019 low inflation we cut VAT TAX and more big indexactions in salaries and pensions

if in 1 quater 2018 we are at +5,7% as in 2017 we will finish the year with +8%

we don`t have the info for march that will come when come gdp info in may

ATTENTION the imf database have a big mistake it show that our economy collapsed with 3% in 2010 and it collapsed with under 1% so this gdp $26500 is actualy over $27000
