I am truly convinced that the albanians have had their time in the spotlight.
Tide has definitely turned. I have said it many times (although I thought Kosovo was going to be a country some years ago), that Serbia is playing its cards extremely well. They probably have international advicers.
I cannot, and most diplomats agree, even in my wildest imagination figure out how Kosovo one day will be a world recognized state.
This will continue for decades to come if the Kosovo politicians dont come with suggestions pleasing Belgrade on how to solve this mess.
Dont count on US. 99% of their leaders are only interrested of Bondsteel. Full stop.
Its also funny to read from some warriors (keyboard) that Kosovo could stand up against the serbian army. According to British military analysts that I have spoken to, it would take Serbia 4-5 days to take over 90% of Kosovo. The Pec/Peja and south of Pec area is a little trickier.
I am 100% sure that Serbia wouldnt do this except in special circumstances because there is to much to lose.

You're calling others drug dealers while Serbs get arrested daily for drug dealing in Spain and other countries. Just few days ago a group of Serbs were arrested in Greece for selling drugs worth millions. Serbs committed war crimes that were called the worst in Europe since WW2. When it comes to organ trafficking you Serbs better solve to what happened to 10.000 babies in Serbia. You know what they say, you point a finger at somebody and three point at you. Every country, and this includes Serbia, is going to have drug problems; however, the Albanians GDP depends on their ability to traffic drugs (throw in organs and humans for good measure) through out Europe - this is the difference. For us, it's more of a recreational thing to pass time.

20th April ZSO will be set up - Kalbanians signed up to this with EU negotiations 5 years ago so on what grounds could they arrest ? Let's not forget when they say its unconstitutional - do they mean the EU dictated constitution for Serbia's UN recognised province that is EULEX law based?

Poor serbs they have lost their tempo , morale and mind. They are making their last desperate move by trying to force the implementaion of the zso. It is going to fail badly , no one will allow this.

Every serb reaction is so desperate and hopeless that makes you feel sorry for them to a certain degree. Eventhough they are trying so hard to hide their impotence.. they are definintely failing in doing this too.

Giving Pristina an ultimatum of three weeks is so generous from their side. I was expecting much less time to be honest. Prishtina should be very gratefull to their generosity and in exchange for this favour they should avoid for them the humiliation of beign paraded on the streets of Prishtina like they did with Djuric, when arrested.

Even if there was political will to create the Association you sealed the deal and more than likely this government is out of the door. Just wait until Haradinaj clan bicker for more seats and ministries.

This would be such a disaster for the Kosovo Albanian community: you do more business (trading) with the rest of Serbia than you do even with Albania! You speak the same language as Albania and would ideally want more of their products, but prefer Serbian products (obviously). So how will that work? Are your people ready to pay more to replace everything that comes from the rest of Serbia?

And then, you want a huge portion of limited resources to go towards trying to cement power you do not have in the free north. Sure, NATO will help you a lot. They provide security for ROSU terrorists right now. But not even they can get a stranglehold over the north. How much effort, time, money and attention has to be spent before you can somehow tame 40,000 Serbs that are connected to central Serbia?

Serb community is off to a bad start. Legally and by the Kosovo/a constitution their logo doesn't have English and Albanian underneath it so all can read it, especially those that don't read Serbian. If they are going to do something at least do it right and by the law.

And there are so many opinions on here and other articles as if this is a victory. Article 35 for admission to the EU is really clear (first to be opened and last to be closed). Parade all you want but I guess Serbia proper has no interest in joining the Union which funds and supports it more than mother Russia and trade is higher with the EU than with Russia. And one thing the politicians haven't told the people is that once they join they will need to align their foreign policy with the EU's. So I'm sure Putin won't be happy.
