According to my trusted sources, during this visit in the USA, Vučić has also asked for help to sway Serbia's public opinion towards joining NATO.

but one thing Ziev is not mentioning is that Macedonia if actually facing 3 separate vetos for membership into NATO(and not just one like the main media is reporting), there is one veto one from Greece, another from Albania and one from Bulgaria.

1) To stop the Greek veto;
Macedonia needs to change its name.

2) To stop the Albanian veto;
Macedonia needs to implement the ‘Tirana Platform’ including passing the law to make Albanian an official language throughout Macedonia even is areas no Albanian live, and finally

3) To stop the Bulgarian Veto,
Macedonia needs to rewrite pre-1946 history to suggest Macedonians and Bulgarians were one people pre-1946. This is currently being stealthily implemented slowly thought the ‘Macedonia-Bulgaria friendship treaty of 2017’ and can be seen in action when Bulgarian officials are present at Macedonian historical commemorations like Ilinden, WW1 & WW2 remembrances.

Is this the price for NATO membership?

Corrected for Peter the Great: For almost 50 years the Balkans were partly under the influence of the Georgian Ukrainian and mainly Jewish led USSR and the USSR funded financially supported the transformation of backward feudal mainly agrarian economies of some of these countries into developed and modern states. It took 20 years to the same countries to destroy and delete any prior achievement and to transform their countries into Europe's a.h. See the average gdp growth last decade for Nato old wolves Peter. Italy neighbor -3%, Germany something more than +1%. Nato doesnt feed anybody and Zaev is only seeking to survive politically. Nato membership for albanians in macedonia means no more political factor in the region. But they can finally complain in albanian language which is I agree our greatest achievement.

Logically being part of NATO rules out 'Greater/Natural/Bio-Albania' or whatever they call it these days, so pro-enlargement Albos should be sad about it joining.

Buuuuut, NATO is first a political organization and secondly a gun club (like the NRA). The moment the guns go off there'll be dead pigs, chickens, cows and horses everywhere and not a barbecue in sight!

Why the ($*k NATO would want to import a powderkeg like Macedonia* unless it is about pure politics? Or maybe they want to complete their Top Trumps collection?

This has the potential to destroy NATO itself. Then again, when is commen sense or NATO ever in the same room? Rarely.

NATO is a sorry collection of 'I want to use my guns mom! I'm taking them to school' members who need to get their rocks off on regular occasions by destroying other peoples countries, soooo there really is no contradiction. They can pick up their own gun and shoot themselves in the head with it, happy that they've achieved something! Consequences are for losers. Just like the Scorpion and the Frog. Nature.

Russia had their chance!
For over 40 years much of the balkans was under the umbrella of the Russian led Soviet Union and every one of those countries under this sphere of influence suffered greatly, both economically and the loss of their freedoms!
I'm glad to see that there are democratic leaders in the balkans which are not afraid to lead their countries in the right direction towards democracy and freedom for their citizens, BRAVO ZAEV!!!
However, beware Zaev, as there exsists a radical element within the balkans which has always served Russia's interests, and is always at work with trying to keep many countries in the balkans from moving forward democratically!!!
