Serbia should just sit tight and wait. There is no need to rush into anything. So called Kosovo will fall apart on its own, both through internal political self canabalism and exodus of their own people who are seeing no improvement since 2008 declaration. Serbia should continue to support its people there and let EU members fight over Kosovo statehood as well as their own disintegrating union. Be patient Vucic!! Tides are changing in Serbia’s favor.

From your keyboard to Gods ears. Do you believe Vucic will not eventually recognize Kosovo in all but for the words used to describe it? I want to believe Vucic, in the end, will not recognize but I also don't see how he could do that without all of Serbia having a say via a referendum and, finally, I don't even believe anyone has the right to give something away that our forefathers paid for in blood over many centuries.... it is not something we have a right to negotiate over. It is Serbian for eternity. If Vucic or anyone attempts to do so, I believe he will have the same fate as Djindic and Kosovo will be taken back by force at the right time.

Vucic .can not and will not do this. We ,Serbs have a good mixer in our political cabinet .
We have 90 %,right people in their right positions .

This decision is made by the UN, and only the permanent members of the UNSC have a veto right against the appliance.
Every politician in Serbia (and in Kosovo) should know that fact and how the procedure of becoming an UN member works.

I cannot understand how this topic ("Kosovo will become an UN member", "Kosovo will never become an UN member without Serbian agreement") is discussed again and again.

Like it or not: As long as Russian and China will oppose it (and they do - not because of the great Serbian friendship, but because of their own issues with ethnic minorities in their countries ), you should forget about a Kosovo UN membership.
