Reconciliation? Rescind your recognition of the fake, illegal, and immoral 'state' of Kosovo. Throw the organ trafficking war criminals which run Kosovo in jail. Throw Naser Oric in jail for his endless list of grotesque war crimes in eastern Bosnia. Throw Gotovina in jail, and all the Croat generals involved. Admit publicly that Operation Storm is US Sponsored Genocide - which is exactly what it is, as the indigenous Serb population was wiped out in one weekend. Throw Madeline Albright and Wesley Clark in jail, particularly for the bombing of the RTS building, which is a blatant war crime by any standard. Pay Serbia $60 billion of reparations for bombing infrastructure, bridges, buildings, hospitals, schools, power plants, administration buildings.....all war crimes.

Finally, recognize the results of the upcoming referendum in Republika Srpska, which will be overwhelmingly to split from that fake, non-existent state of Bosnia. If you want real reconciliation, you will do all of this. If not, then shut up, we're not interested. Russia has our back, you've chosen the side of the war criminals and boot licking terrorists.

Let’s review this because I may have missed a point somewhere along here.

The west, led by the US, bombed Serbia illegally and for no other reason than it wanted a foothold in Serbia to counter any Russian expansion.

Then that same US went on to blacken Serbs at every opportunity, particularly with the myth of Srebrenica. The US even organised the Brits to try and bring a Srebrenica resolution in the UN, but foiled with Russia’s help.

Then they tell us they are our “friends” while in the same breath they try and knife us at every opportunity, and now they to “bring about a historic reconciliation” between the US and Serbia. These same “friends” also bombed Belgrade during WW2.

Here is what I say about this historic reconciliation. Damon Wilson you can roll this reconciliation up tightly and place it in the US rectum and shove it as far it can go up the proverbial canal.

Now you may begin to understand why I call these Americans halfwits. They do not have enough brains to think clearly and believe they are going to wipe the slate clean because if they can brainwash their population they can do the same with Serbs.

This is complete and unmitigated bullshit by the US which has absolutely nothing to offer Serbia except destruction. Pristina's shit fit tazantrum or running for mommy's skirts because it refuses to fulfill the basic requirements even its allies in Brussels asks tells you all you need to know. Adding the US to the mix only makes it more complicated and even less likely for anything to be implemented.

Just look at the border deal made between Kosovo and Montenegro. Pristina refuses to ratify it, Kurti playing his designated spoiler role to make sure it isn't. Brussels has failed to prevail, Washington has either failed or refuses to leverage its influence, but either way, the result is sweet FA, USA or not.

There is no 'deal' to be done.

It seems, little by little, the Americans are putting out their hand of friendship and we must grab it if they are willing to deal with the Albanian problem for the whole region. They still seem to be surprised as to why we are cautious, which shows they still don't quite understand the gravity of what they did in the Balkans in the 90's.
Whether we like it or not, we need them. If not best buddies for now, at least friendly and respectful and honest with one another.
And we won't walk away from Kosovo without a compromise, or throw our close friendship with Russia under the bus are the conditions.

What could the US possibly offer Serbia to improve the relationship? They aren't going to send a boat of money or rebuild Serbian infrastructure (heck they aren't even spending money on their own infrastructure), they aren't going to say that they were wrong to bomb Serbia, they aren't going to withdraw support for Kosovo separatists, they aren't going to stop trying to sabotage Serbia's relationships with Russia and China, so what (beyond empty promises and additional pressure) can they offer? How do they expect to win Hearts and minds with ramping up their shoddy treatment of Serbs?

LOL! There is nothing in the article to indicate any true reconciliation but rather the same old same old. They lost Serbia and as such, will lose the Balkans. Its obvious you have never worked in government. I have seen projects go to completion only to be abandoned. For example in Sydney Australia a desalination plant was constructed and opened in 2010 at a cost of $2 billion but today it sits idle, rusting away.

The US can build whatever they like since its only borrowed money, but its always something else that has to give in the US budget. Its common knowledge that the US air force has to canabalise other aircraft to maintain its fighter jets. As I said something always has to give.

Then that same US went on to blacken Serbs at every opportunity, particularly with the myth of Srebrenica. The US even organised the Brits to try and bring a Srebrenica resolution in the UN, but foiled with Russia’s help.

Then they tell us they are our “friends” while in the same breath they try and knife us at every opportunity, and now they to “bring about a historic reconciliation” between the US and Serbia. These same “friends” also bombed Belgrade during WW2.

Here is what I say about this historic reconciliation. Damon Wilson you can roll this reconciliation up tightly and place it in the US rectum and shove it as far it can go up the proverbial canal.

Now you may begin to understand why I call these Americans halfwits. They do not have enough brains to think clearly and believe they are going to wipe the slate clean because if they can brainwash their population they can do the same with Serbs.

Serbia unfortunately chose antogonistic policies in the 90s and lost the support of most countries.

Fortunately, Serbia is somewhere on the mend.

Until the EU stops alienating Serbia, they'll have to look at other options - China could be this option. US protecting Serbia since 1945?!?! This is a bit of a stretch my friend. It seems, little by little, the Americans are putting out their hand of friendship and we must grab it if they are willing to deal with the Albanian problem for the whole region. Its obvious you have never worked in government. I have seen projects go to completion only to be abandoned. For example in Sydney Australia a desalination plant was constructed and opened in 2010 at a cost of $2 billion but today it sits idle, rusting away.

there is absolutely nothing the US can do about it, the geopolitical shift has begun, and I don´t see that it can be stopped or even reversed.

it´s a done deal, the US will lose their grip on the balkans, it is only a question of time now.

as for the Albanians, there is nothing to "normalize" at all, first there will be some issues fixed and then whoever likes can be friends with them.

Because Chinese want to own Pireus. And the way from Pireus to Germany is via Serbia.

Since thousands of years the main Chinese business was to manufacture some low-quality poopy things which may (unlikely) or maynot (more likely) fix your everyday household problems.

Archeologists discovered, 2-3 thousand years ago that was what did drive people of Suzhou or Hangzhou. They found a gazillion of useless crap made for masses.

It's mega-business and the clever Chinese somehow made a special deal with USPS, so they can send their crap to US for next-to-nothing.

On the other side, USPS raised it's domestic and international prices to a ridiculous level, so it's not worth to send from US anything abroad... unless you do it with Pitney-Bowes involved, who are most likely involved with Chinese as well.

Serbia is needed to help Germany to get more useless crap from China, via Pireus.
And it works. Albania is completely off-side but I guess, they get their share of Chinese crap, too.

I have no idea, how good is the business to sell "Albanian" things to the tourists. I was in Kosovo on many occasions and only once in Albania. Most touristy stuff being sold there (like in Belgrade) is made in... guess, where. I was shocked.

There was a genuine Albanian store in Prizren... for the price level of Switzerland. We could not afford more than a little scarf for my wife.
But the store looked authentic and beautiful.
