Dont let sj convince you he has ever stepped foot in Serbia, Bosnia, or anywhere in the Balkans. He lies over and over on these comment pages.

The vast majority of the blowhards commenting on English b92 have never been to Serbia or left when very young. Diaspora dissidents

SJ: I lived and worked in Bosnia for 10 years and now fund (for no profit) a business that provides jobs in a hard pressed economy so yes, I know something about the country.

Being a Serb website there is a preponderance of stories about Dodik as opposed to other Bosnian politicians and therefore the opportunity to comment upon him comes around far more regularly than on anyone else.

As I said you really are not there and there is nothing demeaning when stating the truth. When I say politicians become rich I don’t mean they earn £170,000 for 5 years. I mean very rich where their wealth is measured in millions of pounds. Teresa as PM or Minister will change laws, regulations or perform something to advantage the corporations while in power and when she retires from politics the money starts rolling in. There are two ways; she can be paid off there and then or she can work on consultancies which is far more lucrative.

That is how it works in democracies. I was being kind to you and said dictator when you used the word despotic rule.

You seem to be in another world talking about democracy when it does not exist. The US is hailed as a democracy but for the last 200 years its had only two parties in power – that is not a democracy.

I have kept a close watch and all you talk about is Dodik. I doubt you even know anything about Bosnia.

SJ: A few things. 1) Personal insults demean you not me. 2) Theresa May was an example of someone whose personal opinion was different from Government policy and therefore relevant to my original comment and your erroneous reply that all leaders' personal opinions were the same as official policy. 3) The word "dictator" does not appear in my comment. 4) Theresa May's salary is £170,000 a year and was previously £140,000 for six years so she would have to go on some sort of bonanza to leave Parliament poorer than when she entered. 5) You clearly don't follow things as closely as you would like to think. I have criticised Izetbegovic on a number of occasions and, when appropriate, will continue to do so.

What does Threesa May have to do with what I said? There have been articles on Izetbegovoic and I did not see you making comment. I pay very close attention to these things.

When are you going to get it through your thick head Serbs don’t give a figs about Bosnia?

Putin is a dictator eh? I doubt you would know democracy if it bit you on your backside. Its always the same prattle about despotic rule and corruption.

I have yet to see one western politician that has entered parliament risen to minister or PM position but left parliament poor. It’s called corruption.

SJ: I could name many people who fall into that category. Theresa May was/is a supporter of remaining in the EU but is now leading a Government charged with leaving it. I didn't pick on Dodik, the article was about him. Had it been about Izetbegovic and had he been talking the same rubbish, as he often does, I would have said the same thing. People like Dodik, Erdogan and Putin, who use a veneer of democracy to hide their despotic rule and who have made their territories personal fiefdoms by moving power to whatever position they hold at the time, are all alike. And, for that matter, enriching themselves at taxpayers expense.

RS is recognition and reward of Genocide in 🇧🇦.

International Community must revoke and delete this travesty to justice once and forever...

Serbs belong with in The Hague, 2 meters under or the world’s 🌎 War Crimes capital Belgrade.
This way they are all concentrated in one place so that NATO can eliminate more ...

am amused to note that Dodik tries to distinguish between his "own opinion" and the "official position". In the RS at least they have been the same thing for the last 12 years.

Name one politician in a western government that does not fall into that category? Amazing how you target only Dodik. What about Izetbegovic? Perhaps his opinions are all democratic manner.
