It is mathematically impossible to pay back the current debt levels. The current economy is similar to when the stock market crashed in 1929. Donald Trump as the right idea with trying to improve the trade deficits and encourage investment cash flows to the country, unfortunately, he is being blocked at every turn.

They are not denying anyone the same rights. It was both the Czechs and Slovaks who came to an agreement to go their separate ways. The Serbs and the Albanians have never had such an agreement, much like the Spanish and Catalans. I hate to disillusion you, but the US counts all gold reserves held on its territory as part of its own inventory. You see there are still countries that hold their gold reserves in the US so to get a true picture you need to take away those numbers from published numbers. Both Russia and China individually hold more reserves of precious metals than the US. In 1967 the US held the largest gold reserves, but 1967 is not 2017.

The US is spending about $70 billion extra on defence this year, but everything else such education, health, social security is taking a haircut.
