Who do you think? Albanians will give up control of about 30-35% of Kosovo, those areas where Serbs live, the churches, monasteries and culturally important sites, freedom of movement and the list goes on. Essentially, what's Serbian stays Serbian. A UN seat will cost a lot and my idea is only speculation but it is only Serbia who can give that while EU membership is not the price. We would rather stay out thank you as polls have shown time and time again. No recognition means we're not giving up Kosovo so if we ever get into another war situation, we can legitimately defend Kosovo.

17 years ago Milosevic was still in power and "resolving Kosovo problem one for all" still meant "Albanian-free Kosovo". The only options Slobo offered to K-Albanians were "Die or leave". 17 years ago even K-Albanian politicians never mentioned UN seat. Now even Vucic accepts that`s inevitable.

Dacic went along with the same, and now Vucic has run out of time because the 20 years are almost up. These were all Serb proposals to the world powers on how to resolve the issue of Kosovo/a.
The proposals were referendums, agreements, mutual understandings, etc. at a later date but within the 20 year period so that Serb citizens could be conditioned by the politicians to either except a reality that Serbs in 1999 could not accept.
I've said this repeatedly the Serb politicians should shoot straight with the people and tell them the truth. They've masked this issue for years and have repeatedly said this would never happen but then it did. I think the Serb population is mature enough to handle the truth but politicans only think about keeping their seat of power. Come clean with the people so we can all move forward. If not, do it for the sake of the children.

Albanians are a homogeneous people, who are very racist and elitist. Serbs are a blend of Slavs and native Balkan people’s who too are very racist and elitist a match made in heaven to be honest. In the whole Balkans the two groups that think and act more alike to each other than any other group are Serbs and Albanians, both groups are despised and loved by the wider world at the same time for different reasons. They have historically produced the most elite soldiers, mercenaries and gangsters in the region and have constantly tried to exterminate the each other one way or another. If you put a mirror up to a Serb, on the other side he’ll see an Albanian and vice versa. If both of you were to disappear tomorrow, the Balkans would be a haven of peace and prosperity. You’ve done nothing but bring misery, war and conflict and that’s only in the last century. The Turk should have dealt with you a long time ago and put an end to arguably the most heartless ethnic groups in the white race. why is you two always find a way to destroy something rather than build it?
Kostunica, Tadic, Dacic, and Vucic, chronology of what would need to happen for an agreement. Kostunica and Tadic wanted 20 years to settle the question of Kosovo/a. Dacic went along with the same, and now Vucic has run out of time because the 20 years are almost up. These were all Serb proposals to the world powers on how to resolve the issue of Kosovo/a.
The proposals were referendums, agreements, mutual understandings, etc. at a later date but within the 20 year period so that Serb citizens could be conditioned by the politicians to either except a reality that Serbs in 1999 could not accept.
I've said this repeatedly the Serb politicians should shoot straight with the people and tell them the truth. They've masked this issue for years and have repeatedly said this would never happen but then it did. I think the Serb population is mature enough to handle the truth but politicans only think about keeping their seat of power. Come clean with the people so we can all move forward. If not, do it for the sake of the children.
Kosovo always had a high level of autonomy and this right of self-government should now finally be extended to full independance.
I am not Serb, nor Albanian. I am not pro nor against but I can see clearly that the current status quo is not getting anyone, anything, anywhere soon.
Something has got to give and I have an inkling that Vucic is leaning towards solving an issue that has kept Kosovo and Serbia from moving on for far toooooo long.
In Serbia 17 years ago people talking about "more than Autonomy less than Independence" were considered traitors and West`s lapdogs. People even talking about "Albanians rights in Kosovo" were considered heretics who should be burned in stake. Now we`re talking about "the rights of Serbian people in Kosovo".
17 years ago Milosevic was still in power and "resolving Kosovo problem one for all" still meant "Albanian-free Kosovo". The only options Slobo offered to K-Albanians were "Die or leave". 17 years ago even K-Albanian politicians never mentioned UN seat. Now even Vucic accepts that`s inevitable.

You're full of it and what you're describing here is not exclusive to Serbs or Albanians.
Actually, by painting this untrue and extremely biased picture of both ethnic groups you have just qualified yourself as exactly that what you have tried to describe them to be, only you didn't choose the right word(s); you BIGOT.

We will erase everything serbian in the region and the last remaining 1% of your kind will be expelled to serbia. That is what is waiting for you. That will be your future. From "more than Autonomy (which means BS) less than Independence (which Kosovo already has)" now it is "UN seat in exchange of North".
I think some people need to be reminded about Brussels Agreement which make North not just "part of Kosovo" but practically and legaly North being subject of Kosovo Government and Kosovo Constitution. Serbia has already agreed on that.
Serbia will will try to profit as much as it can from economic deals but UN seat is a matter of time now.
And there's no point of negotiating unless Serbia is willing to recognize at the end. What lasting solution can there possibly be, if there's continued ambiguity and two-facedness?

Let's get this straight. Serbia is not going to recognise, we are talking about the possibility of a UN seat, which is going to cost a lot. Probably the North remains integrated into Serbia and highly autonomous cantons in the South, where Serbs live.

So, what you are saying is Serbia will not recognize Kosova but, Kosova will become a UN member and what here will be a high cost to be paid.
Question: Who will pay this high cost and who will determine this cost.
Vucic has recognized Kosovo. He met with thaci and shook his hand. The question is why doesn't he say that? Because Kosovo is still a part of Serbia's constitution. It's not enough for Europe. Europe doesn't want recognition of Kosovo just as government policy but state policy. What would happen if Serbs turned against Kosovo independence? 63% of Serbs have said Kosovo is independent nation so Vucic can have his pro independence policy and have no consequence for violating constitution. But what if Serbs stopped being pro Kosovo independence?
