@ ilir - Sometimes its like talking to a disabled child...keep repeating until they eventually get it...what did recognition of OVER 100 countries get you? NOTHING!! That and $2 will get you a cup of coffee, just not at Starbucks;) Where are the investments of these "friends"/ Where is the visa Liberization? Where is the help for the common people from these "friends"? When Serbia recognizes, then you have something..until then, you're pissining in the wind. Soon U will lose a lot more when you realize you should have sat down at the table with beograd and come to terms that work & don't work for all involved. Your risk now is Beograd might start growing a pair of balls and pull what they've already offered off the table...

When the remaining EU Members and the west begin to tighten the funding of Spain's lifeline and bailout assistance, I believe Spain's will have a change of heart, and will recognize in the months to come!!! GO TRUMP!

Don't worry Mr. Ambassador, since Catalonia will recognize Kosova and Barcelona will not be part of Spain .

Are you trying to sound smart or is this your attempt at a joke? What makes you think Catalonia will secede, and if it does, what makes you think it will get recognition for its own hypothetical recognition of Kosovo be count for anything? Kosovo has recognition from Taiwan. That and $2 will get you a cup of coffee. You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel if this is what makes you optimistic.

It will be very interesting to see how Western European countries will react when regions in their own neighborhood decide to declare independence. Will they support their allies or back stab them like they did to Serbia. I guess we'll see with Catalonia.
