A total of 129 cases of A/H1N1 flu, knows as swine flue, have been confirmed in Serbia by Monday, August 24. This is according to the Serbian Institute of Public Health Dr. Milan Jovanovic Batut. 129 swine flue cases confirmed The data of the national reference laboratory for respiratory viruses, the Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Serums Torlak, shows that the patients include 67 persons who contracted the disease while traveling. The persons with whom the patients were in contact are under medical supervision, the Institute said. On Sunday, including the figures for that day, there were 251,401 confirmed cases of swine flue worldwide, with 2,545 fatal outcomes. The World Health Organization (WHO) earlier this year declared the pandemic of the disease.
