Man convicted for threatening B92 journalist

BELGRADE -- Stefan Hadžiantonović of Belgrade was convicted before the First Municipal Court for making threats against B92 reporter Brankica Stanković.

The proceeding was conducted under the indictment of the First Municipal Public Prosecution in Belgrade for endangering safety, since Hadžiantonović sent threats to the reporter on the social network Facebook.

The accused pleaded guilty and he apologized to the reporter. He was convicted to a year in prison for endangering her safety.

However, since he had previously been sentenced to four months for violent behavior he was sentenced today to a unique sentence of one year and three months in prison.
