  1. I'm sure americans in Bondsteel (biggest american base in the World, outside US ) are scared at the idea of a russian firefighters' base being built in Nis
    (Hans, 5 November 2009 11:49)

hans,i think you germans should know the Russians very well from 1945...
How is life in Ostpreussen and Schlesien going?
Ooooopps I forgot, they are Russian and Polish now,damn...
    (CG, 10 November 2009 11:38)
  2. Look at one point - the exercise don't included so-called "Kosovo Army" (KSF). Why?? Becouse they are banned in North ;)
    (Milan, 6 November 2009 21:09)
  3. What a name for a drill - "Strong Gates".
Serbian Army should immediatelly start drill called "Broken Strong Gates" on the other side of administrative line.
    (Radical, 6 November 2009 14:11)
  4. Not really ... Compared to our condition just a few short years ago, we're doing mighty fine.
    (Adrian Gashi, 5 November 2009 23:14

If "mighty fine" to you equals a north that is 98% Serbs living their lives mostly free from interference from Pristina, I agree.
    (Jason, 6 November 2009 09:08)
  5. Why doesn't the greater albania stand on it's own feet???? After all, it has mother albania to back it, doesn't it??

Either stand for something, or fall for everything....obviously, everyone is falling for your charade!
    (GSP, 6 November 2009 03:42)
  6. "Good thins the number lie was stressed."

Oh dear, not that old canard again? From the UNHCR:

    [link]

    IDPs: 225,879
    (Aleks, 6 November 2009 03:13)
  7. "They have more control than Albanians there. Isn't THAT sad?"

Not really ... Compared to our condition just a few short years ago, we're doing mighty fine.
    (Adrian Gashi, 5 November 2009 23:14)
  8. Nikos: After all the violence, destruction of property, churches and cemeteries, threats, grenades etc, PRN comes to teach us civilized behavior.. No thanks!
(Nikos) I agree with you Serbs did a bad things in Bosnia i Herzegovina Republic even worse then you mentioned. Do you think they are repentant and want to make amends and live in peace with Serbs victimized neighbors or are the Serbs just two faced? Or are we just talking nonsensical hypothetically apples and oranges as usual not getting to the root of the problem.
    (Lenard, 5 November 2009 22:44)
  9. So Serbs don't have much control over N-Kosova, it appears. Isn't that sad?
    (Adrian Gashi, 5 November 2009 19:34)

They have more control than Albanians there. Isn't THAT sad?
    (Jason, 5 November 2009 20:39)
  10. So Serbs don't have much control over N-Kosova, it appears. Isn't that sad?
    (Adrian Gashi, 5 November 2009 19:34)
  11. I wonder have they ever exercised a drill to protect minorities as a subject.
    (Mr. Curiosity, 5 November 2009 16:47)
  12. To: All

Its funny how you all direct the aggression to a particular group and are forgetting the real folks they truly want to send a message too.

Its the criminals (which don't have a nationality bc they work hand in hand) that they are sending a message too. And the politicians and ppl eat this up as its against them.

Tadic and Belgrade have been told (by the EU) that they have a problem and they've identified it themselves and so has the Army of Serbia and so have the institutions of Kosovo/a. Criminal activity is happening without any regard to law and operate without impunity.

In order to join the EU cross border activity must stop. CRIME DOES NOT PAY IS THE MESSAGE!

Think about why they want to patrol the area. Is it bc they want to show off to the ppl or send a message to criminals that your days are numbered and you will have to cease and desist all criminal activities bt Kosovo/a and Serbia.

Peace to all....and may criminals be locked up no matter what nationality they belong too...
    (kiko, 5 November 2009 16:47)
  13. I'm sure americans in Bondsteel (biggest american base in the World, outside US ) are scared at the idea of a russian firefighters' base being built in Nis
    (Hans, 5 November 2009 11:49)

    hahaha

well, one should not play with the fire :)
    (ben, 5 November 2009 16:47)
  14. "to show that Serbia has definitively lost Kosovo and that a NATO state had been formed on Serbian soil"

Funny how it takes one visit from Medvedev for Serbs to start calling independent countries "NATO Countries", by implication, this means that Serbia is a Warsaw Pact country and you don’t like the yanks next door, correct?

But wait a minute!!! You want to join NATO and the EU!!!! or NOT!!!! I’m confused. For all our shortcomings at least us Kosovar Albanians know what we want. But the question is what do you want?

Tell you what, Kosovo is a NATO country, on that you are absolutely right. There are over 14,000 Nato troops stationed here, and a new NATO army, the KSF being established.
    (Nick KS, 5 November 2009 16:26)
  15. "Fed up with medival mentality, who understand ONLY force as a mean to switch to civilised behaviour.
    (PRN, 5 November 2009 10:25)"

After all the violence, destruction of property, churches and cemeteries, threats, grenades etc, PRN comes to teach us civilized behavior.. No thanks!
    (Nikos, 5 November 2009 16:01)
  16. I beleive Jason is a good man, but he has been brainwashed by his gilfriend in Zubin Potok.
    (Kosova-USA, 5 November 2009 13:52)

I believe that there must be hidden Serbian-Girlfriend training camps somewhere in Serbia, there is no other explanation for those Serbian Girlfriends to be so efficient in Serbian propaganda.

I have been accused as well of being brainwashed by my wife, although she never likes to talk about the war in Bosnia, or politics.
    (Pyrros, 5 November 2009 16:00)
  17. The council also said that the western forces will have to face the fact that it was through their fault that 250,000 Kosovo Serbs were driven out of their homes, but that, it was stressed, "they will return sooner or later".
    -----
Good thins the number lie was stressed. But anyway, the day Serbia gets Schengen, customs, law and order will be placed north. This is the reason for this maneuver with a great name! My cousin from the Kosovo Security Forces is taking place thee too
    (aRTa, 5 November 2009 15:56)
  18. KFOR should make sure that 1244 is fully implemented!

And on the elections: please do not vote! Good luck, the free world is supporting you! Again, please do not vote!!!
    (Ron, 5 November 2009 15:47)
  19. Luigi, caro, it's the first time I agree with you! After all, any military force has to rattle a little bit with it's equipment and egos. Strong or weak whatever ( I guess, I am not going to be censored because the "whatever" word), in reality, they have nicely paid vacation in this part of the world. As a matter of fact, many would pay to serve in "Kosova" rather than somewhere else.
    (Logic, 5 November 2009 15:17)
  20. Serbs should not be threatened at all and this is not the 1st exercise in that territory, so I dont understand what is all that fuss about. KFOR is here to protect all citizens of Kosovo.
    (Olf, 5 November 2009 13:39)
    --
Yes Olf, we remember the 1st excercise very well. Either sign this agreement allowing NATO to occupy all of Yugoslavia or get bombed. And you are right about NATO protecting citizens of Kosovo, which Serbians are not. They are citizens of Serbia and are constantly being provoked by NATO. That's what the fuss is about.
    (Zoran, 5 November 2009 15:15)
  21. Sabre-rattling from an ailing aggression pact...

True, the reason for this provocation being held is due to the current western regime in Belgrade, but when the Russians are established in Nis, and the fact that the russians in deed are coming to stay, is enough for the criminal cowards in NATO to keep out. Until then, let them enjoy a final nervous idiot move in the northern territories...
(Hasta la victoria final!, 5 November 2009 13:56)
  22. MikeC

I have frineds there who are fighting terrorist. They are risking theirlifes for your safety.
    (Olf, 5 November 2009 13:53)
  23. "Jason,

What does your kind mean ... stop saying this kind of provocative language.

IF you are a peace keeper you should be Neutral and just do what you are supposed to do teach to patrol the streets or what ever your Job is.

I know how safe your American streets are and how you treat your own citizens :)"

When I said his "kind" I meant and do mean nationalists... nothing more. As for neutrality, it is a joke. Every single person in mission has an opinion on what happened here - it is impossible not to have one. We are not robots. We must treat people equally and we do, but it does not mean I have to agree or disagree with a particular politics.

As far as the US goes, our police there are quite professional considering that we have some of the worst crime in the world. Yes, we have bad apples here and there, but I am speaking in general. Cheers.
    (Jason, 5 November 2009 13:46)
  24. Serbs should not be threatened at all and this is not the 1st exercise in that territory, so I dont understand what is all that fuss about. KFOR is here to protect all citizens of Kosovo.
    (Olf, 5 November 2009 13:39)
  25. Right on the money, and you all know it.
    (Kosova-USA, 5 November 2009 10:45)
    --
At least you acknowledge the NATO state but that means you admit that Kosovo is not independent and just a puppet entity. However, if you read this article it's obvious that Serbian parts are not under NATO's control otherwise they wouldn't need to conduct these types of excercises.

You can see how this force is uncompromising. It has no intention of negotiating and wants to force its unnatural will onto others. That is the reason it has failed in every single mission and will continue to fail. Until NATO and ethnic Albanians learn to negotiate, compromise and respect others - peace and prosperity will only be delayed.

The evil of this world is when someone attempts to force their will onto unaccepting people. They use terms like "you're with us or against us", "live under our rule or die" and so on.

Keep the resistance strong my friends. Protect your freedom, never give in to evil and always work towards peace.

    Živeli!
    (Zoran, 5 November 2009 13:38)
  26. Jason,

What does your kind mean ... stop saying this kind of provocative language.

IF you are a peace keeper you should be Neutral and just do what you are supposed to do teach to patrol the streets or what ever your Job is.

I know how safe your American streets are and how you treat your own citizens :).

As well PRN man o man what are you doing.

Both Serbs and K-Albanians you all have your side and I am sure its justified by your account but do you have to make any post with Hate and especially the ones of you who live IN EU and USA have you learned to coexist you want to speak about SHAME this is it
    (allez, 5 November 2009 13:24)
  27. Hehe..."Strong Gates"?
"Strong Gates" of Nato militarism, unilateralism, violence and aggression?

Nato violence,in modern World, will NEVER have the last word.
(dean van der serbia, 5 November 2009 13:16)
  28. I think this drill is aimed at the ICJ! Nato knows it is occupying Serbian territory but wants the world to know that they won't let go easily no matter what the ICJ ruling will be. Camp Bondsteel is just to important to the Americans. A desperate attempt by a desperate organization. Serbs should just wait it out. Nato wants to provoke a Serbian response so they can send a message to the ICJ: "you see, we were right"
Poor America! It's loosing on all fronts. Afganistan, Irak, Kosovo and even at home.
    (MikeC, 5 November 2009 12:50)
  29. Let them drill for oil if they like. You allow fools to behave like fools and what are these clowns going to achieve? nothing. If they have not established cooperation between KFOR, EULEX and KPS in the last decade then what is this going to achieve? The west is a total failure in the middle east and Afghanistan so let them run around and pretend they are a real power.

The Serbian people should blame themselves first – if you crawl on all fours they will call you an animal, but if you stand on two legs they say you’re a man.
    (sj, 5 November 2009 12:45)
  30. The council also believes that it was the wrong policies coming out of the government in Belgrade that "spurred the west to further separate Kosovo from Serbia".
    --
It's true. Tadic and co are responsible for this provocation. He allowed EULEX to deploy and is allowing this provocation to occur unhindered. The occupiers are slowly attempting to get their way while Serbia remains weak under Tadic.

It has taken decades for NATO/UNMIK and ethnic Albanians to get this far. Sure, they have worked together to ethnically cleanse hundreds of thousands of Serbians and other non-Albanians, caused destructions to centuries old churches and continue to murder Serbians. However, it will all be undone in a flash.

The sad fact is, the mentality behind these types of actions are those of PRN. We have senior people in this occupation who believe the Serbians either fall under the rule of aggressive ethnic Albanians or leave. So far they have forced Serbians to leave and they will continue this action until Tadic is given the boot.

So it should now be clear to all Serbians that EULEX stands shoulder to shoulder with NATO and ethnic Albanians. It is a trojan horse so I urge all Serbians not to fall for any of the PR and lies coming from it. EULEX is our enemy and we need to keep the resistance strong.

    Živeli!

    (Hans, 5 November 2009 11:49)
  32. NATO is not what it once was but can only JUST humiliate Belgrade because of the compliant regime there. Its getting its whooped in Afghanistan and soon will be drawn into Pakistan. Things will change. Keep up those drills because that's all you're good at.
    (milan, 5 November 2009 11:21)
  33. Kosovo-USA, if it is so obvious then why do you and your kind always have to keep repeating it? The only answer is that you are trying to convince yourselves.
    (Jason, 5 November 2009 11:20)
  34. The Serb National Council said that goal of the exercise is for KFOR and EULEX "to show that Serbia has definitively lost Kosovo and that a NATO state had been formed on Serbian soil".

Right on the money, and you all know it.
    (Kosova-USA, 5 November 2009 10:45)
  35. I think occupiers of our Serbian province of Kosovo are getting bit nervous, Russia and soon to be Russian so called “Security Base” in Nis comes to mind.
    (usaSERB, 5 November 2009 10:38)
  36. Dear fellow Illyrian land inhabitants,

North of Kosova anarchy is coming to an end. Behave in a civilised and democratic manner or get out.

Fed up with medival mentality, who understand ONLY force as a mean to switch to civilised behaviour.
    (PRN, 5 November 2009 10:25)
  37. This is normal ..as i have always stated actually Kosovo is not an indipendent state is no more a province of Serbia..simply is a Nato protectorate ..so Nato decides what to do and when..
