Gunmen Wednesday shot up India's financial capital, killing dozens, UPI reported. Police said they killed two of the suspects who attempted to flee after the attacks. A number of bombs also were defused before they could explode, police said. Several attackers were reported holed up at two luxury hotels - the Oberoi Hotel and the Taj Mahal Hotel - four hours after the attacks began. Explosions and fires rocked the facilities as battles between the attackers and police continued, CNN-IBN reported. In addition to the hotels, hospitals, a cafe and train station were attacked, police said. There was at least one report of an attack on the local airport on the outskirts of town as well.
