All three of Serbia's mobile operators have introduced a unique number that their customers can use to donate money toward the Japan earthquake relief effort. Subscribers of Vip Mobile, Telenor and MTS Telekom Srbija can send their text messages to 2001. Mobile operators launch single Japan aid number Vip Mobile led the way yesterday, when they launched the number for their network. Text messages sent to 2001 will be charged RSD 50, tax free. The money collected in this way will be transferred to a special Serbian Red Cross account, which will then spent to help the earthquake and tsunami hit areas of Japan. Vip Mobile led the way yesterday, when they launched the number for their network.
