Citizens who were scheduled to begin their obligatory military service in December will begin their service in January because of the swine flu epidemic. According to the Defense Ministry, the decision to push back the start of service until late January 2010 was made by Minister Dragan Sutanovac based on estimates made by the ministry’s health administration.
