After visiting the Sjenica municipality, Ljajić said that the government will give funds to all the regions that suffered serious damages in the floods.

He added that the situation on the terrain is worse than he expected and that there have been over 120 demands from households for aid.

Ljajić said that emergency measures will be taken to help individuals and families, andthere will also be long-term steps taken to prevent similar events from reoccurring.

The minister said that the Red Cross will also be called in to help with hygienic packages and food for families that were effected most in the flood.

Ljajić will also visit the municipalities of Užice, Požega and Arilje in order to gather information on the damages incurred, which will be sent to the government immediately.

The situation in the flooded areas is slowly stabilizing and the water is moving back to the river barrier.

The municipalities in the Rzav water system are also getting back the use of water in their households.
