Former RS official’s home searched in hunt for Karadžić

International forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina searched the home of Mirko Sarovic Friday. The Republic of Srpska Internal Affairs Ministry confirmed that international forces stationed in Bosnia had searched the home of the former RS president, located in east Sarajevo. Former RS official’s home searched in hunt for Karadzic The troops were searching for information that could potentially lead to the location and arrest of Hague fugitive Radovan Karadzic. The search began early on Friday morning and was carried out with the help of RS Interior Ministry personnel for special investigations and criminal police investigators. Sarovic has also been taken in for interrogation. He is located on the European Union’s list of people suspected of harbouring Karadzic.
