Dodik says Serb entity "not engaged in secession"

Dodik told Banja Luka newspaper Glas Srpske that the RS "supports the concept" of giving Croats in Bosnia "a federal unit" and noted that this means "the territory of the RS would not be touched."

Speaking about the position of the Serb nation in the region - "which is fragmented in several states" - he said the Serb national question in the region is yet to be solved.

"They are trying to take territory, i.e., Kosovo, from it (the Serb nation) in the home country. Here in Bosnia-Herzegovina, they are trying to minimize the RS," said Dodik.

Despite all that, the RS leader said, the Serb entity's institutions are functioning, while the RS is "the only self-sustaining and functional community" in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
