Newly elected Slovenian president sworn in

LJUBLJANA Newly elected Slovenian President Borut Pahor has officially taken over office from his predecessor Danilo Turk. After he took the oath of office on Saturday night, Pahor addressed MPs in the Slovenian parliament and called for unity in the country in order to overcome the crisis. Four years of crisis have exhausted us and we are going through some though times so it is understandable that our people have less and less patience. Pahor is the fourth Slovenian president since the country became independent in 1991.
