Finnish TV rejects Slovenian request In response to the Slovenian request, the station only made one correction to the story, which it published on its internet page. The only correction was made to the part of the show where the former chief of Slovenian police, Bojan Potocnik, was named as an adviser to the Slovenian president, because Potocnik left that position on August 8, and the show aired on August 12, according to Slovenian agency STA. Besides that mistake, no other parts of the story needed to be changed, Pihlajamaki replied, when asked if there would be a “The Truth About Patria—Part Two” following the Slovenian request. YLE Director Mikael Junger also received a request from the Slovenian government for additional information that would shed light on the origins of the story and the choice of interviewees. On Friday, the Slovenian government asked YLE to show the sequel to the story on the same channel at about the same time the first part was aired. In the first program entitled “The Truth about Patria”, which sparked huge controversy on the Slovenian political scene, Prime Minister Janez Jansa was accused of accepting a bribe of EUR 21mn to set up an agreement with the Finnish Patria company for the sale of armored vehicles to the Slovenian military.
