The two officials met as part of regular consultations, and on the occasion Dodik "updated Vucic about the political and economic situation in the RS," the Serbian government said.

Vucic "underscored the importance of respect for the territorial integrity of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the integrity of the RS entity, " and "informed Dodik about the forthcoming talks on Kosovo and Metohija that will be held in Brussels on February 9."

Vucic also "notified Dodik about the first results of the economic measures that the Serbian government has taken to rehabilitate the Serbian economy," said the statement.

Earlier in the day, the office of the Serbian president said that Vucic, Dodik, and President Tomislav Nikolic watched together a live broadcast of the reading of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling in the case of Croatian and Serbian genocide lawsuits.

It was also announced that Nikolic would later in the day make a statement regarding the ruling, "on behalf of all three officials."

The Hague-based court announced on Tuesday that both lawsuits were rejected and that genocide was not committed in Croatia during the 1991-1995 war.
