BELGRADE Government media office head Milivoje Mihajlovic says that the Kosovo platform is "not a platform for negotiations". "Nobody in their right mind publishes their platform for negotiations," he asserted, and added that the document in question was "a platform for the resolution of the Kosovo issue". "Document not meant to be platform for Kosovo negotiations" As for the negotiations, said this official, they are "a parallel process". Speaking for public broadcaster RTS Mihajlovic stated that the government and the Serbian parliament "will most likely be sent documents that will confirm what PM Ivica Dacic has been negotiating in Brussels": "I don't think there's anything contentious there and that's something that gives Serbia international legitimacy when it comes to the agreements that are supposed to solve the problems of the citizens in Kosovo and Metohija." Mihajlovic also stressed that a demilitarization of Kosovo was "a fundamental suggestion of the platform of the Serbian government". He also stated that he expected the document to continue gaining support. "Big power centers, Kosovo Albanians and Serbia will be deciding on whether the platform can be implemented. In any case it is a proposal worthy of attention and should be analyzed," Mihajlovic concluded. Milivoje Mihajlovic (Tanjug, file) Beta RTS
