Vujanović: Montenegro remains neutral
In Vujanović’s opinion, the issue of Kosovo will be settled in a politically responsible manner at the United Nations Security Council.According to him, all countries in the region hope that the final decision would be reached in the UN.
“Montenegro is going to hold on to its old position. We never proposed any solutions for Kosovo, since we believe it has to be based on such a model that can guarantee good relations between Belgrade and Priština, and be acceptable for the entire region.”
He underscored that Montenegro was not exposed to any pressure that might cause a change of its official policy towards Kosovo.
“Neither the international community, Serbia nor Kosovo have pressured Montenegro. They have always showed full understanding for our position that I have conveyed to U.S., EU and Russian officials,” the Montenegrin president concluded.
