Kondor sustained deadly injuries from machine gun fire and died soon after. His daughter was also shot and transferred to the city hospital in Bijeljina and is now out of danger, according to Šukelić. 

Bosnian Serb media reported that Kondor notified the police two days prior to his death that somebody had punctured the tires and smashed the windshield of his car, in a series of threats he had received this year.
