According to the daily’s sources, the main condition of the prisoners would be reduction of sentences. Blic also writes that the Serbian police received information from Interpol that the mutiny was being planned and that Milovanovic was planning to escape. Daily Danas says that this is the main reason why the security level has been increased in prisons in the last several days, and that the probe into the escape attempt has led the investigators to a Belgrade lawyer, bearing in mind that visits from lawyers are not monitored.
