A shootout at a Roma (Gypsy) wedding in the Belgrade municipality of Zemun last night left one of the men who attacked police officers seriously injured. The second shooter was arrested, Tanjug news agency reported. Police attacked at Roma wedding None of the officers, or the guests at the wedding were injured. The incident happened as police responded to reports that shots were fired from pistols at the location. Once the policemen arrived, one of the armed men – said to have been under the influence of alcohol – pointed his weapon at them. He refused to drop the pistol after police repeated warnings and fired a warning shot in the air, so the officers fired at him.
