The Hague Tribunal trial chamber has called for a team of medical specialists from outside Holland to examine Vojislav Seselj. Judge Jean Claude Antonetti (presiding) has ordered the court secretariat to select two medical experts, a cardiologist and a liver disease expert to examine Seselj. Seselj to be examined by “non-Dutch” doctors The court order states that the specialists must be of “a different nationality” to the specialists that examined Seselj earlier, who were Dutch. The Tribunal released the findings of Dutch doctors earlier this week, who stated that Seselj had no serious health problems, but that he was overweight and had a “fatty liver” and high blood pressure. A group of specialists from Serbia, led by Milovan Bojic, summoned by Seselj’s defense, said that the Dutch doctors’ superficial diagnostic approach was “endangering” Seselj’s “already failing” health.
