Key interest rate reduced to 12 pct
The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Monetary Committee has decided to reduce the reference interest rate from to 12 from 13 percent.

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Monetary Committee has decided to reduce the reference interest rate from to 12 from 13 percent. The NBS stated on Friday that in order to improve the domestic currency solvency of the banking sector the committee adopted amendments to the decision on special measures of support to the country's financial stability. Key interest rate reduced to 12 pct The changes will be implemented as of July 18 and they should contribute to increasing the dinar solvency of the banking sector of about RSD 13bn.
