Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the latest U.S. military strikes on Iran, describing them as a clear violation of the country’s national sovereignty.

At the same time, Tehran issued a stark warning to all Middle Eastern countries hosting American troops, saying they could become targets if such attacks are repeated.

In response, Iran has already launched airstrikes against targets in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.

In an official statement, the ministry said Iranian forces had already inflicted significant damage on U.S. military infrastructure in the region.

“The Iranian Armed Forces have caused substantial damage to American bases and assets in the region that served as the source of these attacks. Iran will not hesitate to directly target the source of any future attacks,” the statement said.

Iran launched coordinated strikes on Wednesday after the United States carried out attacks on Iranian sites near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

Washington justified those strikes as retaliation for the earlier downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter.

So far, there has been no official confirmation as to whether American facilities sustained critical damage in the latest Iranian attacks.

However, it has been confirmed that the situation was highly tense and that air-defense systems were urgently activated in all three targeted countries—Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has not yet officially commented on the consequences of the attacks, while CNN reported that it had requested an urgent response from the Pentagon.

Alongside its military actions, Iran has also launched an accelerated diplomatic initiative to inform key regional actors about its next moves.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held urgent phone calls with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia and Turkey immediately after the U.S. strikes, according to a separate ministry statement.

The details of those conversations have not been fully disclosed, but analysts believe Iran is seeking to secure the neutrality of regional powers in the event of a further escalation of the conflict.
