In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates expressed their strongest condemnation of the actions of the Israeli occupation authorities.

The ministers warned that Israel’s ongoing measures further entrench the apartheid system and promote exclusive rhetoric that denies the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and their existence in the occupied territories.

It was emphasized that such a law represents a dangerous escalation, particularly due to its discriminatory application against Palestinian prisoners, and could further heighten tensions and threaten regional stability.

The statement also expressed deep concern over the conditions of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, warning of increasing risks due to, as noted, credible reports of ongoing human rights violations, including torture, inhumane and degrading treatment, starvation, and denial of basic rights.

The ministers reiterated their rejection of Israeli policies, which they said are based on racial discrimination, repression, and aggression against the Palestinian people.

Finally, they called for restraint from actions that further raise tensions, emphasizing the need for accountability and intensified international efforts to maintain stability and prevent further escalation of the situation.
