Ukrainian air defenses shoot down 234 Russian drones; 11 locations hit

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 251 drones of various types during the night between March 22 and 23. Ukrainian air defense systems shot down 234 unmanned aerial vehicles.

By 08:00, Ukrainian air defense forces had destroyed or jammed 234 enemy drones. A total of 17 UAVs hit targets across 11 locations, while debris from downed drones fell in eight locations.

The Ukrainian Air Force stated that the attack is still ongoing, as several Russian drones remain in Ukrainian airspace, and urged citizens to follow safety measures.

 

Terrorist attack in Bucha?

On the morning of Monday, March 23, an unknown device exploded near a residential building in Bucha. Later, another unidentified device detonated nearby.

Two law enforcement officers were injured and transported to a hospital.

The police have classified the incident as a terrorist attack.

 

Russian forces carry out attack on NATO training site

Russian forces reportedly attacked a training site with NATO equipment near the settlement of Repki in the Chernihiv region, according to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, speaking to RIA Novosti.

“A strike was recorded at the former military unit A-0254, which is now used by territorial defense forces for training… Around 30 injured soldiers were brought to the district hospital, with the most severely wounded transported to Chernihiv in six military ambulances,” he said.

Lebedev specified that the targeted training site was used to train Ukrainian fighters in the use of NATO weaponry.

Two injured in Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih

Two people were injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region at dawn on March 23.

The attack caused a fire, and the injured were men aged 31 and 58.
