Alarm in Saudi Arabia: missiles destroyed over the capital

According to a statement by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense, the country’s military intercepted and destroyed four ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh.

Debris from the interceptions fell in various locations across the capital, but initial assessments indicate no material damage or injuries.

"We also intercepted and destroyed a drone that attempted to approach a gas facility in the Eastern Region. The operation caused no damage," the ministry said.

Earlier, it was reported that air defenses were responding to a ballistic threat over Riyadh.

On the same day, two ballistic missiles launched toward the Eastern Province were also intercepted.
